Toyota continues to be a lead automobile company and Kelly Services should take full advantage of this opportunity to represent this automobile company that has been in business for 79 years now. Toyota is a large networking pool in the United States and other countries as well. Thompson and Merchant found that employment and gross domestic product growth for Toyota has been correlated to improved revenues of U.S. companies. Kelly Services would be able to promote employment opportunities within several areas of Toyota. These areas include: engineers, designers, technicians, managers, human resource department, sales both on floor and internet sales. In addition, Kelly Services would be able to network in several countries as Toyota jobs are located throughout, Asia, Europe, North America Latin America, The Caribbean, and Oceanic Islands. As automotive companies have had declining sales, this would be an important time to provide employment opportunity solutions to Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Canada currently employs over 6,500 individuals at their plant and continues to exceed Toyota standards with their three plant sites (Canada).

Thompson and Merchant found that the U.S. automobile industry economy has declined due to the global economic recession; however, the foreign automaker Toyota has continued to show high revenue growth through 2008. As it has been found that Toyota has been the biggest beneficiary from the decline of American automobile corporations, Toyota continues to be the largest automobile maker in the world with their annual growth of 8%

In Mississippi, Toyota Automobile Company is presently operating a new plant. This plant has approximately 1,950 workers and will be producing about 600 cars each day. Since Toyota continues to have increased revenues, they will continue to support their employee needs. As auto sales continue to increase, Toyota will continue to maintain automobile employment numbers with qualified individuals.

...and Cases, Fifth Edition Cases 1. Capital Mortgage Insurance Corporation (A) © The McGraw−Hill Companies, 2007 Case 1 Capital Mortgage Insurance Corporation (A) Frank Randall hung up the telephone, leaned across his desk, and fixed a cold stare at Jim Dolan. OK, Jim. They’ve agreed to a meeting. We’ve got three days to resolve this thing. The question is, what approach should we take? How do we get them to accept our offer? Randall, president of Capital Mortgage Insurance Corporation (CMI), had called Dolan, his senior vice president and treasurer, into his office to help him plan their strategy for completing the acquisition of Corporate Transfer Services (CTS). The two men had begun informal discussions with the principal stockholders of the small employee relocation services company some four months earlier. Now, in late May 1979, they were developing the terms of a formal purchase offer and plotting their strategy for the final negotiations. The acquisition, if consummated, would be the first in CMI’s history. Furthermore, it represented a significant departure from the company’s present business. Randall and Dolan knew that the acquisition could have major implications, both for themselves and for the company they had revitalized over the past several years. Jim Dolan ignored Frank Randall’s intense look and gazed out the eighth-floor window overlooking Philadelphia’s Independence Square. That’s not an easy question, Frank. We know they’re...
