Lagorchestras Asomatus (Central Hare-Wallaby) The animal I researched is The Central Hare Wallaby, this furry little creature eats grass, leaves, and fruit. They make their shelter out of grass. The Central Hare Wallaby has small arms, a long tail , long feet and looks like a kangaroo. The Lagorchestes Asomatus was extinct in the 1950's.

The factors leading to the extinction are Ferrell cats, red foxes and more. We expect that the Ferrell cat is the leading predator. This creature was fast but Ferrell cats and red foxes were faster which leaves the Lagorchestes Asomatus an easy prey. An excessive number of rabbits were introduced to the land which gave competition over resources and shelter. This also lead to a decrease in population.
