Internet has grown rapidly, it is continuously and exponentially evolving, both in terms of number of users and applications. By the year 2006, there were 1,093 million internet users and according to 2014 statistics, this figure has grown to 3,035 million. Two things have marked its evolution; the social web and mobile technology (Miniwatt Marketing Group, 2015).
Just to give you the sneak peek of what's internet is becoming now a days with the latest news from last two days. Facebook organized the developer conference "F8" on 26th March. It revealed an unmanned air craft (HARDY & GOEL, 2015) which will help connect the people by beaming down internet to the areas where internet was a problem in past. On the same day,
Google also released its Google’s Cloud Platform (Lardinois, 2015) which will help developers to install 120 open source software in cloud. Hence, big companies like Google and Facebook are spending a lot of money on developers and making internet accessible.
Now a days, Internet of Everything (IoE) is evolving in developed countries which connects everyday devices in order to give them special functions. Hence, development of such applications is also of interest. “Smart cars, smart appliances, smart watches and more all end up with the “smart” moniker in front of them when they become tied to the Internet and interconnect to ecosystems of devices, software and services. The company behind the Sleep Number beds even announced a smart bed that monitors sleep patterns with 500 sensors built into the mattress, sending the results to an app on your smartphone or tablet.” (Bajarim, 2014)
Online or Virtual education is also a new trend in internet application development.
"Coursera" where professionals PhD teach you a course, give proper assignments and quizzes online (Adams, 2012). There are even certifications of programs offered by many websites like this which automatically promotes the concept of "Study if you have interest" and demotivates
"There are limited seats" concept.
The field of game development is getting richer every day. The new trend here is “In-App
Purchases” which require internet connection and lets the developers earn more through their applications (Stellin, n.d.). Developers let user install a mini version of application, and if a user likes it he purchases more lives, coins or power ups to get through upcoming levels.
E-commerce industry is growing day by day and transactions happen every second of time. Previously, payments was done using credit cards and PayPal but now we have “BitCoins”.
These coins are just the virtual money exchange, i.e. you can buy some coins for some money and use it to buy different things online. The API for BitCoins is open source and developers have full access to exploit its usage in their applications (BitCoin, n.d.). So developers can now use “BitCoins” for online payments.
Cloud Computing is yet another emerging trend in Internet application development which allows centralized data storage on cloud and online access to computer software, services and resources. Now a days, people usually backup their data on websites like
Google Drive, Dropbox, etc. and can access anywhere through internet.
After social networking through online websites using PCs, the new trends are mobile social networking with applications such as Skype, Whatsapp, Viber, Facebook, etc.

Even games today are connected to Facebook to facilitate players to have a competition with their friends. Businessmen can do their office works and access their emails around the globe.
There are even certifications of programs offered by many websites like this.
A growing app “RemoteInterview” is revolutionizing the way companies hire and interview people (Ahmed, 2015). In RemoteInterview, a compiler has been fitted in a browser where people can come and code. This helps companies to filter out the recruitment process. So, this is another growing trend in application development of bringing offline desktop application tools like compiler, to-do managers in online application so it can be accessed over the net.
Last but not the least is “Open source version control”. Developers can now save every changing in their code using “GIT”. This agility of code changings helps you when it comes to maintain your code in a group project (Bruce, 2012). It creates an online repository of your projects and allows every team member to change it at the same time with the ability to revert back to any changing anytime. It maintains history of when which line was changed by whom.
Hence, as internet grows new trends in internet application development are sure to come which will change our way of life, developer’s thinking and standards.

This zone will be the default level for any site the users go to that are not on the exceptions list. I would add any sites to the the local internet zone that are intranet sites or sites controlled by the organization. This will give them relatively untethered access to those sites without much restriction as I know these sites are safe. I would then add any site that is used by the employees to the Trusted Sites Zone so to give them less restriction because my organization has vetted the site for security. I would then black list all other sites and give my users the option to request access to sites as needed. I would make sure the zones are setup in IE because they are global options for all browsers....

Credible literacy information is available at the public or private libraries; however, in today’s technology, most literacy is circulating the Internet and the majority of people in this age are bound to collect literacy information through the Internet (Russell, 2009). Google, for example, is the number one source that is being used to collect information and used in the research studies (Badke, 2009). Most college students and students in the advance studies are attracted to using the Internet as a source to gather information because of the easy-to-use features available. We have not only become dependent but addicted to our text trance inducing, video playing, face booking internet device wrapped in plastic and glass. The split second our precious phone could touch social media and the internet it was over, we were hooked and there is no turning back. The advanced micro-technology coupled with highly consumable content and our social interactions make the Internet larger and the world smaller. A user could be texting a colleague in Christ Church who could be doing a Facebook Check-In while texting a Twitter post exposing his or her comments or thoughts to tens of thousands of internet denizens almost simultaneously. Within seconds subscribers throughout the planet are touched or notified minute by minute of goings on all over the globe.
