Globalisation has forced markets to be in constant development and with that companies are also becoming more knowledge-based than ever before. Therefore, it is of great importance for any company who wants to be a part of a leading market to adapt and to keep pace with the rapid changes of the environment they operate in (Gómez, 2004, pp.1). Learning organisations and continuous development is essential for a company to stay in a competitive position with its rivals.
