Maria Pendergrass is the supervisor over data processing and her Job description is to select and train the future face candidate for data processing. Maria has been doing this for two year; therefore she was nominated to select the new face for the data processing. Maria develops a plan for these trainees into a two years system analysis, which is aptitude skills test. The aptitude skills test is a questionnaire that exam to determine individual’s propensity to succeed in a given activity. Also, The aptitude skills test consistent of job-related skills and motivation questions. The aptitude skills test selected fourteen candidates, six were women and eight were men. However, Maria had to narrow the candidates by conducting an in-depth interview. Maria conversed with the fourteen candidates by collecting specific information, which left her with one woman and two men.…show more content… Even though Marie designed an aptitude skill test that fits the job descriptions, the Vice president wants the new candidates to have knowledge management on data processing. Also, the Vice President feels as if they are going to think with their heart instead of their mind because women are caregivers. Women are proving for their family instead of the company, which would cost the company conflict that the Vice President does not want that situation to accrue. The Vice President recommends Maria to screen the candidate with programmer aptitude test devised by a computer-manufacturing firm. This aptitude test has been giving fours years ago and selected the current successful candidates with high score. However, the personnel manager notifies Maria that the company policy had been to do no testing of any kind during the last years.
