RELATIONSHIP Michael Shurtleff explains in the book “audition” that each scene is a love scene” (page.36). The importance of establishing what the relationship is what drives the scene. There are many variables when is comes to relationship; what’s the relationship to other characters in the scene? Where’s the love? And that there are many forms of love. When exploring the meaning of the relationship between characters one thing that is always there is love. Whether its based on sex, hate, compassion, dependence or anything else the core of the relationship is love. Relationships gives meaning and reasons for every scene. What’s driving my speech is the sadness and love in my heart that I have for these forgotten people. They’ve been abandons and abused for far to long. I want to do right by them and not disappoint. Each tear that these mothers and children have shed is what makes me have full compassion for them. At point im here to shield and protect them from harms way.
