Outline: Nestlé Marketing of Nestlé

Executive Summary:
Nestlé's commitment to excellence allowed consumers to turn to its brands to maintain nutritional balance in a fast paced world.
This outline shows how Nestlé has provided an outstanding quality in all of its brands which encouraged people to choose from its products.
But sometimes when market profits seem to be more important than anything else, then this is when those companies fall in the danger zone; providing with products which are dangerous or detrimental to physical health.

History:

Food is the core element of our daily lives for it enables us to survive. When you balance and eat good quality food, you will insure a better standard of living. Here comes the role of Nestlé, appearing to be the largest food and beverage company in the world. Nestlé is often referred to as "the most multinational of the multinationals" due to its manufacturing facility.
Nestlé has been applying its nutrition expertise in the development of products that contribute to the health and wellness of consumers, evolving into the world’s foremost Nutrition, Health and Wellness company.

"Good Food, Good Life" is the foundational philosophy upon which Nestlé continues to build an ever-increasing portfolio of quality brands that not only deliver on great taste, but on nutritional value as well.
Nestlé showed a very huge success and heritage for nearly 70 years since its first Middle East operation in Lebanon in the early 1930s.
Currently, Nestlé in the Middle East owns and operates 14 factories and 16 offices in the region. These multimillion dollar investments have created job opportunities, enhanced technological and manufacturing capabilities, and have fostered national economic growth substantially and significantly in Lebanon and many other countries.
Innovation, creativity, nurturing and heritage… these are the driving forces that have been moving Nestlé forward throughout the world. The Middle East is no exception. Nestlé remains one of the most respected brands in the industry. And that in turn, is a testament to Nestlé own brand of excellence.
In 1934, Nestlé operation set up in Lebanon, importing products to the Middle East from Vevey, Switzerland.
In 1946, an agency was created in Beirut for Lebanon.

Nestle Launches the Biggest Nutrition Campaign (Dubai)
As part of the “Eat Right, Live Well” campaign, Nestlé Middle East has launched a major promotional effort where it uses contests and prizes to encourage consumers to follow five steps to healthy living.
The prizes offered are designed to encourage a healthier lifestyle. They include diet packages, gym memberships, Nintendo Wii Sports, Polar watches, pedometers, and BMI calculators.
The campaign seeks to provide consumers practical guidelines for everyday nutrition and lifestyle, communicated in a simple and attractive way.
And the five steps put for healthy living are: Eating a variety of foods, being active 30 minutes a day, drinking eight glasses of water a day, eating breakfast and maintaining a healthy weight.
"The region wide initiative seeks to spread the principles of Nutrition, Health and Wellness – the cornerstones of Nestlé’s strategic direction - by channeling our worldwide expertise in nutrition research into a focused initiative that contributes to general public health," said Raef Labaky, communication director of Nestle Middle East.
Nestlé offers a range of high-quality pleasurable foods that help meet the nutritional needs of consumers at different stages of their life.

As part of its responsible sourcing program, Nestlé audits and selects the best suppliers that meet its corporate business principles and adhere to its standards. This audit allows Nestlé to identify any potential gaps in the supplier operations and work closely with it to develop corrective actions to fill these gaps.

Nestlé also offers quality on food and beverage products through a portfolio of brands operators. Consumers look for products that provide good taste, consistency and convenience, and this is what Nestlé provides. These brands bring you the peace of mind and confidence you need in order to focus on what matters most in your operation, delivering profitable food and beverages that keep you coming back for more!

But when profits are considered to be more important than anything else, then this creates a huge problem, where the products of a company become dangerous and create serious problems to the people who use them.
And this is what happened with Nestlé company shown by its irresponsible marketing of breast milk substitutes for infants.
This irresponsible marketing is said to be immoral, for it is taking away the lives of many children who deserve to live a happy life, and thus automatically many people won't trust in Nestlé's products again.
But being the largest food and beverage company, Nestlé can overcome any obstacle that it might face on its way, and re-earns the trust of its people by providing excellence in its products.

Competition:
Nestlé is considered to be as the number one Nutrition, Health and Wellness company in the world, providing consumers with world-class brands, products and services. Due to this fact, Nestlé has had a very large number of sales, and thus employs many people and factories.
Nestlé is considered to be sales prospecting, competitive, a strategic planner and provides branding for its products. Branding is considered to be very important since it gives identity for a products and differentiates it from other forms of products when it comes to competition.
Nestlé uses various ways for packaging, such as polythene packs, steel jars, plastic packs, tetra packs and many more. These packs provide safety for products and above all are recyclable which puts Nestlé to be as environment friendly.
Nestlé also uses simple labeling for its products which provide beauty, simplicity and attractiveness. It provides directions to how to use its products which is considered to be as something very helpful.
Nestlé also has a pricing objective, which is to increase sales and maintain the market share. Even Nestlé has higher prices than other brands, they still have high sales due to their famous and high quality products.
Nestlé emphases on internal growth where it achieves higher volumes by renovating existing products and innovating new ones. They have a great research and development team.

Conclusion:
Nestlé is the most important food and beverage company. The customer's wellness and health are very important to it, that's why it carefully produces its products along with the finest expertise. Nestlé gave preference to its products that allowed customers to easily use them and purchase them with good prices. It offers a range of high-quality pleasurable foods that help meet the nutritional needs of consumers at different stages of their life.
Customers look for products which are of good taste and have an appealing sight and smell, and they usually focus on Nestlé's products because they have all the needed qualities.

Nestlé appeared to be one of the most important companies in Lebanon because it left a huge impact on many people due to its excellent products. Whenever it produces something new and that product is put in the market, the amount of sales directly increases because people trust and love what Nestlé produces. It has shown a long-line of fine production over the years; improving its market share.
Innovation, creativity, nurturing and heritage are the driving forces that have been moving Nestlé forward and therefore keep it to be one of the most respected brands in the industry.

Nestlé is dedicated to providing the best foods to people throughout their day, throughout their lives, and throughout the world. With its unique experience of anticipating consumers' needs and creating solutions, Nestlé contributes to your well-being and enhances your quality of life.

Recommendations:
As was previously said, Nestlé remains to be one of the best companies in Lebanon, known for its tasty and excellent products.
It showed an increase on its sales, improved the market share, and provided facilities for its costumers; and that is considered to be Excellency.
Nestlé should stay on the path that it has been walking on for several years; improving day by day in order not to disappoint its customers who have full trust in what it produces.
Nestlé should be aware of the threats that it might face due to the competitiveness of other companies, and also it should be aware of the fact that it shouldn't put market profits as one of its priorities because it will put the company in the danger zone and lead to many problems.
But it's worthy to say that Nestlé has provided an outstanding quality products in all of its brands which encouraged people to choose from its fine products.
