First off, Odysseus, in The Odyssey, is a perfect example for a leader and makes his wise decisions of being active and going on a journey. His acts of activity makes others want to follow on and keep going on Odysseus's journey with him. Odysseus accomplished his goals by moving, sailing, and determination. This involves leadership, which will bring his crew members together and help Odysseus reach his final accomplishment. secondly, Martin Luther King Jr. would not have made his accomplishments by being inactive. If he did not stand up and speak for his beliefs, then America would still be in the racial discrimination era. For example, if Martin Luther King didn't say what he believed, and didn't stand up at that podium talking about his …show more content…
Lastly, being active and making a difference is the most important thing of all. Making a difference in someone's life. Every Christmas, me and my fellow church members dress up as Santa clause and give back to poor children and poor families. This activity makes a person feel so loved and not forgotten. For example, i went into Washington D.C. and handed out food and money to people. Everyone was very thankful and by doing this activity i felt a lot better about myself. Just by doing the little things like that can change a persons life. In conclusion, all of these examples cannot be done with out doing activities and really wanting to make a difference, even i that difference is in the smallest way. For example handing out food and money to people in need. Even standing up to a podium and saying what you believe in to change the world forever. These activities can also go to as high as going on a big journey, no matter where it is, and influencing other people. All three examples influenced others to make a difference and go out and play a sport and influence others.
