Oliver Everwhitt is a fourteen year old boy born july, 1865 and is from London, England. He and his mother, Jane Everwhitt, have just moved into Sandy Hill Manor, which is surrounded by miles of forests and has a beach that isn't too far to walk to.
“Mother, can I go out and see if there are animals in the forest.” Oliver called from downstairs.
“Only if you help me with the rest of the boxes.” Jane called down.
Oliver went out to the carriage with the two beautiful horses. One horse is as white as snow all throughout its majestic form and the other is the exact same but as black as the darkest night. He opened the carriage door to look for a box but did not find one. He looked to the top of the carriage and was shocked…show more content… “Mother would love to see you”, he said as if the buck would reply.
Oliver tried to get the buck the move, but it wouldn't budge. He tried to push it forward from many different positions. He gave up after a while. He tried to pull on the horns to see what the source of the mist was. But, before he could get a close observation, the buck threw Oliver over its head right perfectly onto its back, then it started walking. Oliver was caught of guard so he was a little shaken, but that faded quickly, the mist coming from the horns made Oliver relax.
The buck had been walking for about five minutes, before it arrived at a tree. Oliver looked up at the tree and realized it was much taller and far wider than the rest of the trees in the forest, so he decided to investigate. Oliver quickly jumped off of the bucks back and the buck started eating the grass that was much greener around the tree than anywhere else. Oliver arrived to the trunk of the tree. This tree was bright and looked healthier than the rest, so Oliver decided to walk around the tree. He then saw a stream of liquid coming from the tree. The liquid looked like honey. Oliver went to touch the liquid but before he could, the liquid squirted from the tree right into Oliver's face. He panicked and yelled as it got in his eyes. Finally realizing The liquid didn't hurt at all, Oliver started to calm down. He started to calm down a little too much. Oliver was then too tired to do anything.…show more content… He looked around to realize he was still at the tree and quickly remembered what happened. He calmly looked around to see that it was still daytime, so he couldn't have slept for long. He walked back around to see that the buck must have wander off leaving no trace, He could also still hear the beach so he decided to head that way. Oliver had noticed that everything was different. The trees not only looked like a jungle, but had different color leaves and branches. He noticed how some of the trees even changed color. Oliver wanted to investigate and much as he could but there was so much, too much. Color bursting from trees and reforming and bursting again. Oliver was spinning around and around looking at the many different creatures and plants, then he was distracted by a tune. This tune came from a voice but it was wordless. It was beautiful. Oliver rushed to the voice as fast as he could and the closer he got the louder it got, but it was like he was right next to the source but there was still distance between the two. So, Oliver started to run towards the voice, which kept getting louder and
