...Being part of a study group can be challenging. With different learning styles and personalities within a group, differences of opinions may arise and the possibitiy of minor conflicts. This and similar conducts, if left unchecked, can cause the group to be less motivated and ultimately fail the assignment. One way for me to avoid a similar situation is to develop a strategy to communicate and cooperate effectively with group of individuals having different learning styles and personalities. Since it will be difficult at first to know what those different learning styles and personalities are from each member, I will apply my style of learning and personality traits at the appropriate time. I will base them on the results from the Multiple Pathways to Learning Assessment and the Personality Spectrum Assessment. By using my adventurous personality, The first thing I would do is get active by communicating with everyone in the group. I will ask about their goals and to see if there are any like interest with in the group.
