Over time I’ve been in various student-run organizations. Currently, I’m 10th-grade class president and as such I have a responsibility to be a mediator between my classmates and administration. Helping to resolve issues is something I have tremendous pride in doing whilst using my leadership skills. During the school year, I required input from classmates for a trip that would be in November to Louisiana. At the time, a few of my classmates did not cooperate in the creation of class shirts for the trip. (Yes, this seems a little silly, nevertheless my grade is one blob of lazy in a positive way.) I swiftly held a meeting with the rest of the student council members and announced my idea of how to handle the situation. Coming up with a way to implement my idea while solving any grievances helped to benefit every one of my …show more content…
A few days later I received a message about a dispute amongst the homecoming committee. The following day I called a meeting with the disputing members to discuss a solution over the matter. In the end, I made a decision taking into consideration each person’s input and decide on a fair way to create an unforgettable experience for my class.
There had been circumstances where my school invited guests from Intel and had no one to give them tours of the school. Once I had heard the situation I quickly went to speak to my principal and offer my service in the situation by giving the group a tour of our school and it helped resolve what could have been an awkward situation.
The need for leadership is something I embrace and strive for. The obligation that leaders have leaves little time to their own time, but their contribution to the world helps in the most universal of ways. I know that one day I’ll leave my own mark in people that will make me look back and appreciate all those before

Abstract: The theoretical paper defines and analyses the impacts of the Emotional Intelligence on leadership and success. Emotional intelligence, Leadership and success are very subjective terms and can be interpreted in various ways.. Hence an attempt is made to define them and set the boundaries of the analysis. Firstly the foundations of emotional intelligence are established and boundaries of it is defined. The scope of leadership and success is defined in the organisations in OECD countries. Couple of examples from India and China is added to differentiate how diverse the leadership and success in these countries compared to US corporations.
