The Laramie Project is about the actions of people living in Laramie who amidst them had killed Matthew Shepard due to his sexual orientation. I don’t think these traumatic events couldn’t be more clear and there were intriguing parallels between these texts and traumas that preceded them, which I think made the texts prime exemplars of post-traumatic literature. Another more specific example of how this play fits as a posttraumatic play is when Matthew’s struggles through his first semester at Catawba which he was experiencing post-traumatic stress symptoms related to his rape and eventually he dropped out.
The last reason this relates to a post-traumatic play is that everyone is experiencing a post-trauma life. Even though it may not have
