Sectoral Allocation Expenditures (2013) | Services | Expenditure (%) | Social Services | 34.80% | Economic Services | 25.50% | General Public Services | 17.30% | Defense | 4.50% | Debt Services | 16.60% |

As a trend every year, the bulk of budget is once again devoted to Social Services which receive 34.8 % of the National Budget. Economic Services claim the second highest sectoral allocation with 25.5 % devoted to it for the year 2013. And the General Public Services rank as the 3rd highest sectoral allocation with 17.3 % or about 346.1 billion pesos. Next with the highest sectoral allocation is the Debt Burden or the Debt Service Fund which is given 16.6 % of the National Budget. Lastly, the sector that has the lowest allocation of expenditures is the Defense with only about 4.5 % of the National Budget.
The National Budget here in the Philippines is mostly devoted to the Social Services which includes the expenditures for education and manpower development, social security and welfare. This is also because the Administration wanted to continue its campaign on poverty alleviation or the antipoverty program wherein poor or financially-challenged individuals are given jobs by the Administration. Next in the list is the sector of Economic services which include the infrastructure wherein roads and bridges are built for sustainable growth and for easier way of transporting products from one place to another. Tourism is also included in this sector which is obviously one of the main sources of our country’s income. General Public Services is given the third biggest part of the allocation. This implies that there are also main purposes from which the money will be allocated. This includes the government housekeeping, economic and fiscal administration and for the Local Government Units (LGU) operations. Although Debt Burden is an additional sector but

The central location comprised of mean, median, and mode, followed by the measure of dispersion; standard deviation, variance, skewness, and coefficient of variation are used to evaluate wages, education level, and work experience. Bivariate charts in the form of bar, histogram, line or pie graphs are an effective method of displaying key findings necessary for data analyst and interpretations. Central Location Measure of central location is a measure of location within a distribution and summarizes the one score that best describes the centrality of the data. The measure of tendency that best represents the data set in this example is the median for wages as it represents a good indicator of the typical salary within the data set. |  |  |Mean |Median |Mode | |Wages |$3,083,346 |$30,833.46 |$43,036 |$20,852 | |Education |1273 |12.73 |18 |12 | |Experience |2038 ...

Activity Data Set

...Littletown Café Data Analysis QNT/275 January 25, 2016 The Littletown Café has a different schedule it’s busy season and off season. Careful analysis of statistical data will aid in future decisions for the business. By using qualitative and qualitative data, information gathered can determine the number of staff that is needed for the busy season. Graphs and charts are used when presenting this type of data to show variations between seasons. As with any data, there can be several factors that can influence the validity of the data if it isn’t consistent, such as if there is an abundance of discrepancies in the data sets that could potentially compromise its validity. Some factors that would affect the validity of the set would be weather, temperature, and construction. The continuous changes in these factors could determine whether business will be good or bad. Reliability of the data set can convey the genuine, dependable, constant, and the consistency. Misplaced documents of employee’s record could also affect the reliability of the set. Another problem is no-shows and illnesses could offset the information trying to be analyzed. The steps taken for my conclusion about the validity and reliability was to check and make sure if the data was consistent and if the process was collected was valid for the study. This gave me a chance to check the data to make sure that everything was good enough to be included in the study.Central tendency and variability give us a more...

...Representation of Data Tabulation is a good method of condensing and representing data in a readily understandable form, but many people have no taste for figures. They would prefer a way of representation where figures could be avoided. This purpose is achieved by the presentation of statistical data in a visual form. The visual display of statistical data in the form of points, lines, areas and other geometrical forms and symbols, is the most general terms known as Graphical Representation. Statistical data can be studied with this method without going through figures, presented in the form of tables. Such visual representation can be described in the sections that follow. The basic difference between a graph and a diagram is that a graph is a representation of data by a continuous curve, usually shown on a graph paper while a diagram is any other one, two or three-dimensional form of visual representation Types of Diagrams I. Simple bar chart II. Multiple bar chart III. Component bar chart IV. Rectangles and Sub divided Rectangles V. Pictograms VI. Pie Diagrams Simple Bar Chart A simple bar chart is used to represents data involving only one variable classified on spatial, quantitative or temporal basis. In simple bar chart, we make bars of equal width but variable length, i.e. the magnitude of a quantity is represented by the height or length of the bars. Uses of Simple Bar Chart: 1. Vertical bar chart is an effective way for presenting a time series...

Intro to Statistics

...his staff call all those people in Gulberg who plan to vote in the upcoming election and ask for whom they plan to vote. He could go out on a street in Lahore, stop 10 people who look to be of voting age, and ask them whom they plan to vote. He could also select a random sample of 2,000 voters from the city, contact these voters, and, on the basis of this information, make an estimate of the percent who will vote for him in the upcoming election. Why we study statistics? 1) Data are everywhere. We need statistics to understand and analyze the information, 2) Statistical techniques are used to make many decisions that affect our lives, and 3) Statistical methods will help you make these decisions more effectively. What is meant by statistics? A collection of numerical information is called “Statistics”, e.g. the average time waiting for technical support is 17 minutes, the average length of the business cycle since 1945 is 61 months, etc. We often present statistical information in a graphical form. A graph is often useful for capturing reader attention and to portray a large amount of information, e.g. Lays Volume and S hare of Major S nack Chip Categories Corn Chips 82% Lays Chips...

...The Scientific Method: Observation and Hypothesis INTRODUCTION By now, you have examined a variety of phenomena in the natural world A focus of environmental science is to explain these phenomena. That is, what are the causes and effects of such phenomena? How does one go about investigating the causes and effects such that the conclusions are meaningful and reliable? The answer is the scientific method, which uses designed experiments and careful observations to investigate causes and effects. The scientific method is the systematic procedure for investigation, which generally is composed of the following: 1. Observe a phenomenon 2. Formulate a hypothesis: a tentative description that explains your observation 3. Design and conduct an experiment to test the hypothesis 4. Present your results 5. Interpret the results that validate or modify the hypothesis Step 1—Observed Phenomenon Suppose you observe that an environmental phenomenon (e.g., rainbow trout, Salmo gairdneri are no longer present in a nearby polluted river). You could conduct research by examining the literature to determine what other studies have been done to help you find an explanation. However, the studies may not be directly applicable. You might want to design and conduct your own study. Step 2—Formulate a Hypothesis The second step is to formulate a hypothesis. A hypothesis is a statement of the cause and effect in a specific situation. It is a...

Summarizing and Presenting Data

...Summarizing and Presenting Data University of Phoenix Quantitative Analysis for Business QNT/351 June 02, 2014 Summarizing and Presenting Data At Ballard Integrated Managed Services (BIMS), we pride ourselves on providing excellent services to our business partners and offering excellent employment opportunities. This is why Barbara Tucker, the general manager for BIMS at Douglas Medical Center, has grown concerned over a recent increase in employee turnover rates. The employee turnover rate has increased from annual averages of 55%-60%, which correlates with other local area businesses, up to its current peak of 64%. Barbara believes that the increased turnover rate among BIMS employees is due to an overall decrease in morale. In an attempt to identify the contributing factors of this problem and offer insight to a possible solution, an anonymous non-mandatory survey was administered to each of its 449 employees. Out of the 449 employees, only 78 completed the survey. In this report, several key factors will be discussed as to why employee morale is low and turnover rates high. Recommendations for a solution to the problems and ways to increase employee participation with surveys moving forward will be addressed. The data collected from the surveys issued to employees indicate that the increase in turnover rates is directly related to low morale among the staff. Some of the more concerning answers were from questions six and nine, which revealed negative responses...

Audience Analysis Paper

...employees. In this paper I will discuss the distinctiveness of an audience that would be required if I was presenting a quarterly sales information meeting to a group of stakeholders, which would also include the managers, sales people and its customers. I will also be discussing the communication channels that would be most suitable for specific meetings and some concerns that I may need to keep in mind because of the diversity of the audience attending the meeting. When preparing a presentation of quarterly sales information you will want to discuss different topics, particularly pertaining to the corresponding audiences. Face-to-face presentations are common in sales and usually involve speaking to a large group of individuals. For instance, a face-to-face presentation might include showing graphs, spreadsheets and/or a PowerPoint presentation to the group of people from the company that has investments within the company. One consideration that you should consider most important with this channel of communication is that it allows the salesperson conducting the presentation to adapt to the audiences needs. If the meeting is being held for the stakeholders of the company, the presentation would be held differently than if the information or products were being presented to the managers, salespeople or even the customers. The stakeholders would be better informed with data contained in quarterly sales charts that entail the production of the business, especially dealing with...
