...Personal Learning Management Part Three University of Phoenix PRG 211 09-23-2013 Contents Introduction 3 Problem Statement and Solution 4 Conclusion 6 Introduction Parallel array structures can be used for many instances where an individual wants to input information that is unique to them, such as keeping track of their value items of learning. The entire process of putting pen to paper and creating a program is methodical in nature. The code does not have to be complicated and can be written in plain spoken English. Testing a program to see if it works is a simple task. All the programmer has to do is to input the data into the program and if it is functioning properly, a result based on the input and output will appear of the screen. The results come from a calculated list of items that have a represented value declared by the programmer. For instance, if a programmer wanted to design a program to calculate an entire course’s worth of an item with high value, then they would most likely declare the item of high value as the starting declaration and then say how many of that item are in an entire course. Problem Statement and Solution Arrays have been used in a whole host of problems to arrive at solutions for daily routines and tasks that people are involved in. Parallel arrays operate on a “grab that” basis where the values within the strings grab data from each other and produce information...

...Cultural Analysis History of France While the typical example of a nation-state, France carries a varied and culturally rich historical identity spawning from its centuries of growth. France’s birth as a nation, though difficult to date, seems to center around the conversion to Christianity by King Clovis in 496 A.D. following through to the later part of the century with the coronation of Hugh Carpet in 987. The Carpetian dynasty, which reigned for almost 900 years, came to an end in 1789 with the declaration of France as a nation by the people and the French revolution. In 843 A.D., the Treaty of Verdun roughly divided most of what is now Western Europe into the three territories of France, Germany, and Italy which was given to the 3 grandsons of Charlemagne. The three territories were ruled primarily in peace, France by Phillip Valois, until 1338 and the beginning of the Hundred Years’ War. Through the war, France won provinces that had been held by the Plantagenet king of England. Protestantism spread rapidly throughout the 16th century coinciding with civil wars throughout the nation due to religious differences. The king, Henry IV issued the Edict of Nantes granting religious freedom to the French Protestants, Huguenots, bringing an end to the religiously prompted civil wars. The centuries that followed, marked with territorial squabbles, diverse styles of ruling, and growth throughout the country, paled in comparison to the reign of Louis XIV. Monarchy had...

...Week 5 Final PRG/211 Learning team A James Wilson, John Chroninger, Greg Wahl and Bryce Koepke Introduction: Writing code to educe the power of computers to solve problems along with performing various task are skills that programming teams posses. The proper communication and organization skills ensures that the satisfaction of customers and organizations are met. To successfully solve problems with software requires planning and analyzing to ensure all aspects of the problem are met. A sequence of steps or program development cycle will enable you to use time efficiently and create an error free program. Understanding the problem is the key to creating any form of a solution. The program language to carry out the designs must be selected after coding. Problem statement: Our development team has been selected to create a daily calorie intake program. Our goal is to determine if the calorie intake is being expended. When you as a person decide to change the way you eat and live your life a few things need to be done in the process to help with the change. Some of the ways to help you be a healthier person would include changing your diet and exercise to name the most important. All Rights Reserved © 2003 Bruce D. Perry Effects of Trauma on Children: Perry 2 Introduction Each year in the United States approximately five million children experience some form of traumatic experience. More than two million of these are victims of physical and/or sexual abuse. Millions more are living in the terrorizing atmosphere of domestic violence. Natural disasters, car accidents, life-threatening medical conditions, painful procedures, exposure to community violence – all can have traumatic impact on the child. By the time a child reaches the age of eighteen, the probability that any child will have been touched directly by interpersonal or community violence is approximately one in four. Traumatic experiences can have a devastating impact on the child, altering their physical, emotional, cognitive and social development. In turn, the impact on the child has profound implications for their family, community and, ultimately, us all. ...VIRUS TECHNOLOGY view Presentation The term virus is as old as hills are now in the world of computer technologies. A virus basically is software that is made to run automatically usually used for destructive purpose by the computer experts. Though virus is a well known but not known well. Definition : A computer virus is a coded program that is written in Assembly or a system programming language such as ‘C’ to deliberately gain entry into a host system and modify existing programs and/or perform a series of action, without user consent. In this paper we would like to throw light on some of the unturned stones of the world of virus. We would start from history of the virus i.e. who created the first virus, for what purpose and hoe it affect to the computer. Then classification of viruses by to different methods: Ø General classification of the virus. Ø Behavioral classification of the virus. We covered the topic how nowadays viruses affects to the Mobiles, how they come to the mobile. The small and most important topic that we covered is the ‘Positive Virus’. We covered how the virus actually works in the host computer along with one example as they would enlighten our knowledge about viruses, this is because we want to secure of viruses and actually need to known how are they programmed and executed automatically. We also covered some information about the most popular viruses with some vital information i.e. how they work, how much harmful to...

Hence, the relevant conceptual, theoretical, and empirical work is reviewed, drawing upon correlational, experimental, and qualitative findings. A meta-analysis of procrastination’s possible causes and effects, based on 691 correlations, reveals that neuroticism, rebelliousness, and sensation seeking show only a weak connection. Strong and consistent predictors of procrastination were task aversiveness, task delay, selfefficacy, and impulsiveness, as well as conscientiousness and its facets of self-control, distractibility, organization, and achievement motivation. These effects prove consistent with temporal motivation theory, an integrative hybrid of expectancy theory and hyperbolic discounting. Continued research into procrastination should not be delayed, especially because its prevalence appears to be growing. Keywords: procrastination, irrational delay, pathological decision making, meta-analysis Procrastination is extremely prevalent. Although virtually all of us have at least dallied with dallying, some have made it a way of life. Estimates indicate...
