It’s been twelve years since Sam first found out he could read other people’s minds and everything since has changed. Sam is offered a job that hires people with certain abilities that can help others around them. Sam asks to think about it because he doesn’t know if it will be the best job to have or if he is willing to give up his dream to do something else. He finally decides that the job would be better than working in a company for any other person that could make him miserable. On his first day at the job he is trained on how to work undercover because his first assignment for the government is to be someone else and find out how medicine company’s plan to fix their medicine in stores that are making people more sick. After a week Sam is put undercover as Michael’s new secretary, a medicine company owner with lots of money and influence, and he is to get close enough to find out how Michael plans on changing the medicine in the stores. Then he realizes that he could know if he is working for someone trying to take him down. Michael excuses Sam from his office and tells him to go home and rest. Sam walks out and heads home but when he knows that nobody can see him he takes a right and goes to the government offices. Sam tells them that Michael is suspecting him.
