...I decided that a Greek Letter organization would be ideal for me for various reasons. One of the main reasons is to put myself out there. I want to gain networking skills that can take me further places in a near future to achieve my dream career. Other skills that I want to challenge myself to gaining are social and leadership skills. I want to be able to meet and interact different people and learn along the way while doing so as well as create leadership roles to gain experience. A big part of Greek life is community service and education. In the past, I have contributed through organizations like the Student Hunger Drive and Ryla Rotary Youth Club to help local, national and global communities. I continue to contribute to my community by being a part of an on-going governmental health study that aims to help improve the health programs in communities. As a member of a Greek Letter organization, I look forward to devoting time and effort into community service projects. A Greek Letter organization is also a motivation to aspire in my education, being that academia is a big part of it. Becoming a part of Greek Life is not solely based on helping others, but also in helping to better yourself through a better...
