Sales inventory systems are often standardised i.e. A business will adopt a general model for their own use. This means that they are able to track sales of a product and match it against their existing inventory to regulate how much stock they keep to hand and how much it costs them to do so. Obviously this is necessary for any business in order to run efficiently.
Sales and Inventory Control is an inventory tracking system that gives you up-to-the-minute detailed information on each item in your inventory. You'll know exactly how much inventory comes in, how much is on-hand now, and where it goes. While manual methods may have their place, most entrepreneurs these days find that computerizing gives them a far wider range of information with far less effort. Sales and inventory programs now on the market let you track usage, monitor changes in unit costs, calculate when you need to reorder, and analyze inventory levels on an item-by-item basis.
Indeed, automation process or electronic-based operations have invaded every work place. It is being employed into operational activities to be able to simplify all related activities and operations. Every business owner wants to know which product sells the most, which customer’s or client’s buys frequently, how much inventory is on hand, and what method is preferred by customer when paying and how much did they actually sell on a particular day. The sales and Inventory system is software that manages incoming and outgoing stocks, sales, quotations and inventory report etc. The system features point of sales, tracking of employees’ payables and other company’s features. The purpose of having Sales and Inventory System is to process the tracking inventory products as well as the sales transactions. This support updating information for all items, monitoring inventory depletion and importing and exporting inventory information to form and from external system of records. It does almost every work which is related to an automatic sales and inventory via sales transactions and it is automatically directly to an inventory products.

The system can lessen errors in editing and can be easily accessed any time by the company. Sales and Inventory System makes the company more productive, efficient, and convenient to the company and its customers. The system is meant to help the company show more relevant items to the customers, hoping to expedite and increase the sales and most importantly to increase the profit of the company.
A computerized system is far superior to a manual system when it comes to accessing files, as the speed at which this can be done is faster. If records are needed, these can be accessed in a matter of seconds by just searching relevant information on screen. All the information need can be stored in a single file, as opposed to having reams of paper and various files for each products that would require sifting through to access in a manual system. All files can be kept on a computer, taking up far less space than having to house filing cabinets and drawers to keep track on the paperwork.

1.2 Background of the Study
Inventory is basically the stock of goods from a company to a business. An inventory system is a process whereby a business keeps track of the products it has available. It can be done manually by a count at the end of each day. In this way, it is possible to keep track of the products coming in the business and the products being sold. Since manual inventory consumes a lot of time and is prone to errors, it would be helpful to build a system that will computerize the transactions from acquisition of the product description to updating the inventory database. The system will improve the work efficiency by computerizing routine and time consuming tasks such as the time spent in taking down product information. The accuracy of the current system will also be improved, since the computerized inventory system would eliminate the need of constantly encoding lengthy details of products by having an inventory database. The Sales and Inventory System for eye-contact Supplies is a proposed system for Eye Clinic. It was proposed to enable the production of correct reports, fast retrieval of correct data, and reduce the amount of space used for storing receipts occupying a small clinic. The benefits of the system are to provide a computer based system for the current inventory and monitoring, to lessen the manual processes, and to make the system generate efficient report.

...SYSTEM SELECTION Proper heating and cooling system selection takes into consideration fuel sources (e.g., natural gas and electricity), distribution mechanisms (e.g., air and hydronic), equipment options (e.g., furnace and heat pump), and equipment efficiency. Perform a life-cycle analysis of various properly sized HVAC options to select a cost-effective system. Cost considerations include equipment and installation prices, annual heating and cooling expenses, and maintenance costs. Although more difficult to evaluate, equipment reliability, longevity, warranty coverage, and safety are also important. For example, the heating fuel source directly impacts operating costs. Also, high-efficiency heating equipment often costs more than standard-efficiency models, but it costs less to run. So the life-cycle cost—rather than initial purchase price—may make high-efficiency equipment or one fuel rather than another the economical choice. Some HVAC contractors and local utilities provide life-cycle analysis of various equipment options. A summary of many easy-to-use software products for estimating annual heating and cooling costs is compiled by DOE’s BTS (www.eren.doe.gov/buildings) WHY SIZING IS IMPORTANT A common mistake in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) industry is to oversize heating and cooling equipment, especially air conditioners and heat pumps. Bigger does not always mean better. Overcapacity equipment has a higher initial...

Inventory Records

...Inventory Records: It's good business   Introduction Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company developed Inventory Records: It's good business because proper inventory record keeping is a necessary tool for a jewelry business to be successful. Taking the time to establish and maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records will save you time and money in the event of an insurance claim. If you have a loss, your inventory records will prove what inventory has been lost and its value so that your claim can be settled quickly. If you can't prove that missing items existed, the payment for your loss may be delayed or possibly denied. In addition, inventory records are required by your insurance policy. Recovering insured losses isn't the only reason to establish proper inventory records. Inventory records are useful in planning. They can indicate when to reorder merchandise, what's selling and what's not. Your records also can alert you to missing items and errors in entry, and they help deter internal theft. This guide provides information for retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers, with a specific section focusing on the unique needs of wholesalers and manufacturers. Because each jewelry operation differs in size, method of operation, and type of finished products, it's difficult to recommend one inventory system that will work for every firm. Automated inventory systems play a large role in today’s businesses, especially the retail industry.  This is because businesses want the ability to access and organize data in a quick and efficient manner.  With an automated inventory system, businesses can rely on computers to do tasks that were once performed manually, such as inventory checks and product sales.  These tasks can be very overwhelming for businesses to do manually because of their size, number of stores, and their product diversity.  This can all be changed, though.  With automated inventory systems these processes can be handled in a timelier manner and also be more accurate and reliable than ever before. Automated Inventory Systems are specialized software that allows businesses to input their inventory...
