...choose one of the “Got Milk” commercials with the famous actress Salma Hayek to confirm or contest the theory, in order to create a deeper understanding of the attitude formation model. The “Got Milk?” campaign had a great success in telling moms that milk is nutritious and healthy for their children. Milk should be an essential part of their children’s diet, because it contains a wide range of nutritive substances. In the commercial, Salma Hayek arrived home from a fancy night and realized she has no milk for the morning. So, she leaves the house on a wild chase to find some milk. All the stores she visited were either out of milk or closed. Eventually, after unavailingly trying to milk a cow herself, she finally stopped a milk truck and got her precious gallon of milk. At the end, the commercial convinced with a sense of humor as Salma slopped her glass of milk in the morning, she was fighting for the whole night. The objective of this commercial is simply to increase the sale of milk. The commercial explains that an empty refrigerator at night should be a challenge for the customer as milk is an irreplaceable beverage for breakfast. The commercial puts a finer point on what “Got milk?” means overall. Due to the chosen setting and music the commercial tends to be farcical and reminds the viewer on a cartoon somehow. It creates a funny and laughable atmosphere and evokes sympathy toward the main actress, Salma Hayek. As advertising is about getting attention, the best way...

Similarly, some women prefer hairy men and find them strong and attractive while some think of such men as virile and repulsive. The concept of beauty has evolved from era to era. In the modern world men and women have different tastes for beauty while people living in early 60’s and 70’s had different tastes for beauty. In the earlier eras women had to be fat to be considered as beautiful as seen in many of the paintings of the Titian. The concept of beauty is again changing gradually with popular actors like Scarlett Johansson, Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek and Jennifer Lopez revealing that a beautiful woman is indeed with curves. As a matter of fact, when we are younger and growing up we admire things that appear beautiful from the outside. We are tempted towards beautiful men and women without considering much about their real inner self. But as we grow and enter into adulthood we start admiring things that are beautiful from the inside. Outer beauty remains no longer the tempting aspect for us. In comparison, the outer beauty diminishes with growing age as wrinkles and blemishes start developing on the body whereas the inner soul remains genuine for the rest of the life no matter how we appear from the outside. The concept of beauty has always been...

...Analysis of Indian Developmental Projects in Afghanistan and its impact on Pakistan THEME * Pakistan and Afghanistan are generally labeled as inseparable states due to their historical, religious, cultural, linguistic, trade and ethnic linkages. However, history of bilateral relations between Kabul and Islamabad reveals turbulence. The main reasons for this rocky relationship are the issues related to the Durand Line, the idea of a greater Pakhtunistan, the 1980’s Soviet War, the rise of the Taliban, post 9/11 war, and India’s rising influence in Afghanistan. Through multi-sectoral long-term development projects, apparently carving socio-economic space through application of soft power, India ultimately aims at enhancing its regional relevance to extract politico-economic benefits, while correspondingly constricting contemporary space for Pakistan. Indian sponsored / assisted projects in Afghanistan indicate their character to be more of anti-Pakistan than pro-Afghanistan. Development of road Zaranj-Delaram off sets Afghanistan’s over dependence on Pakistan for transit trade, through offering ground link to Iranian Port Chahbhar. Similarly, Indian offer to build water reservoirs on river Kabul can be termed as extension of her water war against Pakistan. It has implications for Pakistan on its economic, defense and foreign policy fronts. Apropos, carry out a detailed analysis of Indian sponsored / assisted projects directly or indirectly influencing Pakistan and recommend...

...Bible Dictionary Project Template Name: Brittani Fink Student ID: L25540669 Course: Bibl 104 Date: September 22, 2014 Old Testament Bible Dictionary Project: Ruth is one of the most well known women of the Bible. She began her life in Moab, and eventually she moved to Israel. Ruth lived approximately 1000 B.C. No information is known about Ruth’s birth. Ruth is best known as one of the most godly women in the Bible. God reinforced her decision to leave her own country and she is one of the most prominent women in Jesus’ geneology. Ruth was known best for her loyalty, love, obedience and diligence. Ruth was a wife to Boaz and mother to Obed. Ruth put her trust in God and left her family and a land she knew to marry her first husband. After her husband died instead of fleaing back to her homeland she satyed with her mother-in-law then traveled together to Judah. Tursting in God again, Ruth found herself to fend for herself and to begin work in the fields, which is how she met Boaz. By being faithful and trusting God she was blessed with a son and grandson. Through Ruth’s life we can see that she is an example that God will reward our faithfulness. After she made the sacrifice to leave her family then lost her husband she remained faithful and trusted in God and God rewarded her. “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28). The book of Matthew, although not physically...

Abd El-azeem3 1: Holding Company for Potable Water and Sanitation, Fayoum, Egypt 2: Instrumental Analytical Chemistry, University of Duisburg-Essen, Essen, Germany 3: Chemistry Departement, Faculty of Science, Fayoum University, Fayoum, Egypt Introduction Water is one of the vital necessities for the survival of human beings. Wastewater reclamation, recycling and reuse are vital to meet the water requirements for irrigation, industry and domestic use due to increasing population and development in many parts of the world. Industrial wastewaters largely possess organic and inorganic materials such as dyes, phenols, aromatic compounds, and heavy metals [1]. Phenols cause bad taste and odor of drinking water and can exert negative effects on different biological processes. Phenol and its derivatives also show mutagenic effects by unbinding of the DNA helix, inhibition of DNA synthesis in human, induction of gene mutations, chromosome aberrations and a neuploid formations (phenol, catechol) [2]. Because of this increased awareness and concern about environmental pollution, stringent national and international legislation has been set up, generating more efforts of research work in this area, especially in finding better and more efficient techniques to treat wastewater bearing these organic pollutants [3]. Bio-sorbents are certain...
