This paper will describe the differences between traditional and team environments. Also it will explain how self-managed teams could be successfully implemented at Sandwich Blitz

Traditional Environment
In a traditional work environment, the communication is more face to face, meetings are usually scheduled and lead by the supervisor. The work is usually done from the office where you spend your normal work day. Managers in the traditional environment tend to make the decisions on their own without consulting the team.
Team Environment
In a team work environment, the communication is more technological, meetings are usually phone meetings or over the internet meetings. The work is usually done from home or even different cities and states. This environment gives the employees more freedom to work when best meets their needs rather than sit in an office all day. It also gives the employers the ability to hire the best suited candidates for jobs since relocation to where the company is not a must.
Self- Managed Team Sandwich Blitz Dalman and Lei should assign managers under their level, self-managed teams would be better equipped to handle daily activates. This would involve training the teams to better plan and determine what type of training would help them manage their daily responsibilities. Once the teams are trained and assigned the major goal would be to reduce Dalman’s involvement in having to go visit the different locations and dealing with the operation concerns, also Lei would be able to concentrate on the financial matters of the company without being distracted.
Dalman and Lei can train the self-managed team on watching and enforcing the company’s policy so that each employee can understand what they are supposed to do. Another way a self-managed team at Sandwich Blitz
