A Turtle Dragons Tales: The Story of Seikatsu and Shi

Eons ago, long before earth was formed, there was a garden. Inside of this garden were many magical plants, but at the center of this garden stood a massive tree. The trunk was acres wide and the branches miles long. The tree had millions of blossoms in all shades of colors with a small spark inside of them. These sparks were lives of thousands of plants and animals, and yes, humans too. The garden was called Rakuen, and the tree in center would someday be known as the Tree of Life; but for now it was named Seikatsu.

Seikatsu was taken care of and guarded by an ancient spirit. This being was a Turtle Dragon possessing the ears, paws, and tail- of a jaguar, the body and head of a Chinese dragon, and the shell of a turtle. The Turtle Dragon was named Shi and he was the embodiment of death. …show more content…
When Seikatsu’s first bud – a blue flower-was about to bloom Shi and Seikatsu stumbled upon a problem. Rakuen was the only stable part of the galaxy, and Rakuen was too big for the fragile life.

Shi was the one to answer this problem. “Have I not taken care of you all these years Seikatsu?” Shi queried.

Seikatsu was bemused. “You have; however, I fail to understand how this applies to the bud blooming.”

“My friend, I have solved our problem, when the flower blooms and the light is released I shall swallow the life and carry it inside of my shell. In my shell the life shall be protected from the galaxy.”

As time went on more lives bloomed and were swallowed by Shi. The lives flourished in Shi’s shell and formed all the plants and animals you see today. When any new plant sprouts or baby is born a new life
