So me and my brother decided to prove them wrong. We increased how much we read. We started to improve our pronunciation, we knew we had no disabilty. During middle school and high school we excelled in our remedial courses. During 10th grade we were exit the remedial program and placed in standard class, but we were in 9th grade class I was allowed to have a teacher aid present in class. I did not use the teacher aid because I was to proud. I knew what I was capable of doing, I knew my brother and I weren't "special need" students, and I knew in order for this label to be remove we had to work hard to show them. From remedial classes to standard class my grades did not suffer nor my brothers. We begun placing bets on who can get a 4.00gpa(I won) each semesters.
