An ethical organization is not only best for the people it serves but also best for the organization. Being able to describe the organization is the way to succeed in helping others understand what it is that the employees are trying to accomplish. A mission statement helps to keep the ideals or the organization in mind, as well as establishing what target population they would help. Creating a values statement, will help the organization to communicate its moral side with potential clients and others. A code of ethics (code) serves as a central guide to support day-to-day decision making at work. It clarifies the cornerstones of your organization-- its mission, values and principles –helping your staff understand how these cornerstones translate into everyday decisions, behaviors and actions. While some may believe codes are designed to limit one’s actions, the best codes are actually structured to liberate and empower people to make more effective decisions with greater confidence.
An effective code has many uses, but two critical ones stand out. A code should (1) clarify
Gray areas or questions employees have concerning organizational values and expectations and
(2) Help build trust and commitment. At best, a code “reflects the covenant that an organization has made to uphold its most important values, dealing with such matters as its commitment to employees, its standards for doing business and its relationship with the community.”2
A code also serves as a key reference tool. Use it to locate key documents, support services and other resources related to ethics and values within your organization.

For all that a code is, it is not meant to stand alone.
It cannot address all of an organization’s ethics needs, nor can it answer every ethical question or issue that may arise. Rather, view your code as one key element in a broader effort to make ethics a priority at your organization-- a critical bridge for helping to put your ethical principals into practice. (How to Implement Values-Driven Management, 2000) Creating a code of ethics helps the organization’s personal to know what is and what is not acceptable within the workplace and outside of it but while representing the organization. An organizational culture needs to be determined for the organization and the community around it to know what is expected and accepted from the organization, in terms of cultural needs.
The organization provides a safe and welcoming environment for children and their families to play learn and interact. The program reaches out to mainly lower income families who live within the county limits. The families that have children aged 3 years to age 16 years are the organization’s main focus group. The organization is a non-profit program. It does not charge a fee for the services it provides, but rather depends on donations, investors and volunteers. The organization would work by communicating with the schools, churches, and police stations to give the program’s information to certain youth and their families. The children who are bullied into doing/not doing something, suffer from bad grades, or have a criminal past would be the main focus of the group. At the organization, there would be spaces for different activities like a gymnasium for sports, one or two classrooms for tutoring and homework help. This will help our homeless rates, by giving people a reason to continue in life. Once a child grows up, they become adults and sometimes they are not ready. Reaching out to create an atmosphere where everyone feels welcomed is a start.

Morality is the foundation for any successful human service organization. Any human service organization must realize this for achievements to be made. The homeless are often overlooked. Some people believe the homeless are lazy, drug addicts, alcoholics, mentally ill, or criminals that caused his or her homelessness. In the past these assumptions may have been somewhat true, but with the rapidly declining economy and the outsourcing of jobs many Americans are losing their homes. The decline in public assistance, lack of housing, lack of affordable health care, and domestic violence are also reasons the homeless statics have increased in the past decade (National Coalition for the Homeless, 2011). The media has portrayed the homeless in a stereotypical way for so long that society has deemed homeless people as rejects. Homelessness can happen to anyone at any time. The Pavilion Group is making an effort to change this.
The Pavilion Group (PG) is a non-profit organization that knows how important moral values are. As a non-profit organization I think the community will hold Pavilion Group to a high ethical standard. The organization must build its reputation on the work it does to improve the quality of human life. I am the volunteer director for the organization that assists the homeless in North San Diego County. The Pavilion Group has access to and uses the latest technology in society today to ensure the success of clients and the organization. This gives the organization the opportunity to provide services such as housing assistance, food.
I have been appointed the director of a new health care and human service organization. My organization is a public health clinic. As a director, it is my responsibility to draft a mission and value statement for the organization according to its services and clientele. The mission statement of the organization will play an important role to achieve the goals of the organization. So it is a crucial task for me to develop a suitable mission statement for the public health clinic. A sustainable business is one that carries out its activities and processes without adversely affecting the environment or society of future generations. This can be by providing goods and services that are sustainable. Producing, using and selling sustainable goods or services are a commitment that impacts all areas of your business.
To become as committed to sustainability as possible, I will need to review all aspects of the business, from the design stage, through the raw materials and other inputs used, manufacturing, service delivery, packaging, how the product and or services will be used delivered and the ultimate disposal or reuse. By adopting a more sustainable approach this will help my business to comply with legislation, reduce costs, become more efficient and open up new business and marketing opportunities .A guide will show me and my staff how to review the business, goods and services, develop new or refine existing functions with sustainability in mind and meet specific regulatory requirements. Not only does the environmental impact on an organization be considered the social impact of each stage of the organizations lifecycle, such as the effects on workers and the local communities where your materials and services come from, where the goods or services are produced and where they end up when they have finished being useful.
If any stage of the product's lifecycle is not fully considered, you can seriously compromise the organizations sustainability and affect your business and profits.
Product specifications - see if you can design your organizations goods or services so that they are more efficient to use, longer lasting and can be dealt with more sustainably at the end of their useful life? Energy use - design the goods and services so that less energy is needed when they are produced and used? Can you incorporate renewable energy sources?
Materials -if it is possible design your goods and services to include sustainable materials?
Supply chain management - be sure to design your goods and services so that the supply chain is short and the distance that raw materials and finished goods need to travel is not excessive? Can you source from more sustainable suppliers?
Legislation - be sure are you complying with legal requirements on types of material used (such as hazardous substances) and producer responsibility for end of life issues? This is easier to do if these considerations are built in at the design stage. Get support- Try to get as much support as early in the design process as possible. Organizations can get help from various sources.
My organization is The Pavilion Group care clinic is the working strategy of this community and it is based on the best quality services and not on earning profit. This organization provides various services by using the latest technology for the fast recovery health services of their patients. This is a non-profit organization, which works to serve the people who have no money for their treatment and are suffering from serious health problems or diseases.
Our public health organization is dedicated to ensuring the health and well- being of any person or persons who are not able to afford the treatment in big health care organizations' due to the lack of money or insurance. In the clinic, our organization serves the patients for immunizations, sexually transmitted infection prevention, AIDS and HIV services; health insurance and homeless assistance, etc. (Aday, 1993). We also serve the patients in the field and create awareness among them about various kinds of diseases through educational programs. We also provide birth and death records, disability services, emergency services, environmental protection services, etc.
The mission statement of the organization is to protect the patients who are suffering from homelessness; food and shelter and will accommodate superior quality of health care systems and excellent customer care service at a very reasonable price or at a very low cost structure.
The Mission Statement of any organization provides a path or way to achieve its target and goals. As the organization is non-profit organization, the goals of this public health clinic are not to earn profit in the terms of money. This mission statement also supports the ethical system of the society. The organization's aim is to serve the patients who are suffering from AIDS and any other type of sexually transmitted disease. These kinds of diseases are very dangerous for the life of a human being. Our Health care organization and its employees are dedicated to providing the best facilities and develop internal feelings in the patients that they are also a part of this beautiful world. The main aim of the organization is to promote disease detection and prevention, education programs and environmental & personal health (Abidi, 2001).

Value Statement of the Organization
Value Statement of the organization is that "We are here only for serving our patients with best treatment and facilities and not for earning money." According to this Value Statement, the behavior of the employees in the organization such as doctors, nurses, etc. will ultimately turn towards the Mission Statement of the organization. Everyone that works for and within our organization will take actions according to the mission of our organization, which is to provide best services and treatments. This Value Statement will help all employees and staff to concentrate on their motive and influence the work behavior toward their targets only. The Mission Statement and a Value Statement are interrelated with each other. The Mission Statement indicates the main goal of our company which is, to protect all persons from getting sexually transmitted diseases and to help those who have sexually transmitted diseases and to accommodate them with the best facilities. Our Value statement indicates the loyalty and devotion of the doctors and nurses towards their work and organization to accomplish the goals according to the mission statement (Robert & Miller, 2006).

Conclusion;

Everything we choose to do within our lives will have a reflection on someone else. When we decide to give a little of ourselves it may change another’s life drastically. I have made the promise to make each day count; from the time I awake in the morning until the time at which I close my eyes at night. Life the words we preach, and make the difference. We are all here for just a short time; why not give someone else the little things in their lives that will drastically change their life forever. Creating the time to implement a value statement or a Mission statement will not only give yourself something to follow, but allow others to understand what your long term intentions are and how you plan to create them.

The article presents the current work mechanism used by the ITS unit on their beeper system, thus unveiling the lack of organization within the unit. The problem seemed to arise from the fact that the ITS group was fundamentally a technology-driven shop, the lack of communication between the group and its users and the absence of knowledge about the human. After many incidents had taken place the CIO, Deane Morrison, took noticed and decided it was time to change the culture of the ITS group and branch into a more customer service oriented system.
