Do you know anybody who is ridiculously odd? Whenever we see unusual behavior we think they are outlandish, but then why do we eventually get lured towards it? When someone comes in wearing bold colored pants, we judge them for it. But later we get fascinated by it and then copy their ways. In Stargirl, the ordinary teenager in Mica High wore the regular clothing and acted like every other person so at that point Stargirl was considered strange. Later, the other students got inspired and then started to replicate her sentiments. This theory applies especially to teenagers, for they have criteria that they are restricted to.
