...asfawfaStats are the core of your character. The stats you choose to obtain and increase will determine the effectiveness of your Enhancement Shaman. Use this guide to fully understand the stats and their priorities to optimize your performance in Battlegrounds, Arenas and more. Below shows the most effective stats and orders them in the Stat Priority from most effective to least effective. Stat Priority What is a stat priority? This is by far the most effective stat. PvP Resilience Provides damage reduction against all damage done by players and their pets or minions. You start with a base PvP Resilience of 40%. This stat reduces the benefit that PvP Power gives your attackers. 3% Melee Hit This amount will eliminate the chance for your special abilities to miss against level 85 opponents. This is critical in PvP. PvP Power Increases damage done to players and their pets or minions, and increases healing done in PvP zones. You start with a base PvP Power of 0. This stat reduces the benefit of your target's PvP Resilience. Haste Increases attack speed and reduces the casting time of spells. Community The Ateneo Statistics Circle (A-Stat) was formed in the 10th of March 2005 by eleven B.S. Management Engineering students who saw the need to create an organization where students can apply quantitative methods and skills that they learned in class into solving and/or addressing real-life problems and issues present in their community. Furthermore, the founders saw the need for a Statistics-oriented student organization in the Ateneo which will cater mainly to statistics lovers as well as for those who want to learn about statistics but did not have enough opportunities because of the lack of any Statistics course in the university. Today, A-Stat, which exists vis-à-vis its external environment (e.g. other Ateneo organizations, the government, other outside school organizations, and the LS Community), delivers their outputs (e.g. research studies outputs, statistics tutorials and talks, social events, and charity works) through the work of their members and officers, through the funds that they collect from members and from fund-raising...

...Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire is not as much a chore as it used to be. And while breeding is a part of customizing your ‘perfect’ Pokemon -- we’ll get to Breeding in ORAS later -- this guide will deal with EV Training in ORAS exclusively. Also, it will be silly of us to mention EV training with mentioning the Super Training. It hasn't changed since X and Y and you should definitely complete that before doing this. So how exactly does Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire make it easier to EV train your Pokemon? Let’s take a look. Basics Let’s start with the basics of EV training. As many veteran trainers know, every Pokemon is allowed 510 Effort Value points that will go into their overall stats. These points are based on what Pokemon you defeat. Each Pokemon in ORAS has a specific amount in a given stat their EV points go toward. For example: A Wingull gives 1 Speed point. Each stat is allotted 252 EV points to max out a Pokemon’s potential in that particular stat. So, back to the Wingull, defeating 252 Wingull at 1 Speed point each will max out a particular Pokemon’s Speed stat. Some simple math shows that a Pokemon can max out two of their stats with the 252 EV points allowed -- with 6 EV points being left over for whatever stat you so choose. Which stat to EV Train to its max potential is solely on the preference of the trainer...

...STAT582 HW7 Review of Two Statistical Software Packages – Minitab and SPSS Yan Sun As a statistician, have you ever got stuck in front of your computer, trying to figure out the correct syntax of a command to type into the little programming window, and just could not get it right? At that moment, I am sure you would wish there was some magic easy button that you could just click and then things would work the way they should. Well, magic does not happen everyday. However, some better choices can make life easier. Instead of using programmed command lines, some statistical software make their usage much easier by using a menu-driven interface. This kind of software are like well-organized control panels. Each of the things you need to do is controlled by a button somewhere on the panel. Once you get familiar with the layout of the panel, the actual work should be quite an enjoyable process. Several good menu-interface statistical software are available. Among them, Minitab and SPSS are the most widely used ones. This report serves as an introduction to these two software packages. For each of them, the software’s specialties, advantages, and suitability will be discussed. Some important functionalities, their implementations, and programming in the two software will be introduced. This report also includes ‘helpful resources’, which I personally found very helpful in learning and using the two software. 1. Minitab History Minitab was...

...decent reflexes, you can easily take out an enemy hero before their friends can help them. Playing Mortred is about keeping a low profile in a game and capitalizing on shock value when the enemy does realize you are attacking them. While a well played Mortred is good, many players opt not to use her because she lacks the flashy abilities that attract players to other heroes like Faceless Void or Earthshaker. Remember though, no matter how good you are (unless your opponents are really stupid or underleveled), you cannot take on an entire team by yourself and going against 2 heroes of equal level is generally a bad idea barring having a disabler with you. With all the disclaimers out of the way, let's get into the meat of this guide. Mortred's Info and Stats Benefits +Extremely hard to run away from +Has a passive that grants evasion and makes you usually not the target in teambattles +Has the potential to deal extraordinary damage in a single hit which can play mind games with your opponents +Phantom Strike allows you to escape or attack opponents and when combined with blur in a teambattle can confuse enemies +Stifling Dagger has an incredible amount of utility: excellent for last hitting and avoiding nukes early on by being out of range, grants vision of enemies it hits (so if they run up a hill into fog you can still blink after them), can be used to save allies (by slowing the enemy while still keeping out of range of most of their abilities). +Has above average movespeed ...

...After the postseason was over for the Yankees, manager Joe Torre was hired to guide the team to another World Series victory. Joe Torre requested that Derek Jeter would be the starting shortstop for the 1996 season. Yankees Owner George Steinbrenner was skeptical, but General Manager Brian Cashman convinced Steinbrenner to give Jeter an opportunity. In Jeter’s rookie year, he exceeded Torre’s expectations, batting .314, with 10 home runs, 104 runs scored, and 78 Runs Batted In. Jeter was also the American League Rookie of the Year. During the postseason, Jeter batted .361, and helped lead the Yankees offensively along with Bernie Williams. The Yankees beat the Atlanta Braves in the 1996 World Series to win their first championship since the 1978 World Series. The next year, Jeter performed slightly worse, however the Yankees made it to the postseason, where they lost to the Cleveland Indians in the American League Division Series. In the 1998 season, Derek earned a $750,000 bonus, and was selected for his first All-Star Game. The 1998 Yankees won 114 games that year, widely considered to be one of the best teams of all time. In the Postseason, they made it to the World Series, where they swept the San Diego Padres in four games. In 1999, Derek’s season totals in most stats were personal bests. Jeter was...

...THE SUPERVISOR`S ROLE IN CONTEXT Question 1 In your self- assessment if the competencies and skills required of a supervisor, completed on the workshop, you identified various strengths and development areas. Select any one of the development areas and share how you have attempted to improve on this development area. Use specific example(s) to support your answer. One of the problematic areas which I identified where further development is required was planning and organizing. I have currently been experiencing a huge backlog in the various functions in my department. I have been struggling to plan my functions and that of my staff due to constant absenteeism, underperformance and training of new staff which we employed in my department and an existing backlog. The first step in attempting to resolve this problem was to have daily meetings with my manager, where I would provide him with feedback on the progress of the department and to discuss a plan of action to combat the backlog, and to get as much advise and guidance from him. I presented any suggestions that I received during the meeting, with my staff and encouraged my staff to give me feedback on how we can manage the functions more efficiently, especially the critical functions. A suggestion that I came up with was to draw up a timetable and allocate various functions to various timeslots- where the most critical functions would be allocated the most hours. I have struggled to implement this due to certain staff...

...The last genre that makes up broadcasting a collegiate baseball game is a spotting board. However, this time this genre is created by the broadcasters whether it be TV or radio. A spotting board is an efficient way to keep track of information regarding about each team and their players without having to have tons of papers or tabs pulled up on a computer. Spotting boards are very special in that every sport can be used for one it’s not just limited to baseball or softball. Also Lewis adds that, “Spotting boards come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors; they’re filled with names, numbers, positions, even stats and biographical information” (Lewis 2). Like how I talked about earlier during the email genre, certain press boxes don’t have...

...Together as One Often described as a “melting pot”, the United States of America has a rich history of welcoming immigrants, with their many traditions and customs, with open arms. Before the founding fathers signed their declaration, the “New World” of America was already viewed as a safe haven and land of freedom for those escaping religious and social persecution. As our nation developed, the stream of immigrants increased, fueling industrialization through the mid to late 1800s. On the heels of the Industrial Revolution, immigration numbers spiked, leading to Emergency Quota Acts in the 1920s. Such restrictions continued through the rest of the century, changing the ethnic makeup of the United States. In recent years, heated discussions concerning immigration have emerged on the national political platform. As the nation’s leaders reevaluate the role of immigrants in the United States, from a legal perspective it is important to remember the influence such people have had on the nation’s social, cultural, and economical history. Since the founding of the United States, numerous legislative acts that have been passed by the government, in order to regulate the immigrants entering to America. In 1798, four such laws were passed by the United States Congress. Referred to as the Alien and Sedition Acts, these laws were created due to the fear of war with France, and they were intended to strengthen the Federal Government. Sponsored by the Federalist Party, the Acts...
