TV ads are interesting and funny. One of the TV ads I enjoy watching is the new one from subway’s that promotes their new chicken Caesar sandwich. Upon watching the subway’s ad, I noticed that it was something that I’d see myself trying out. According to the AIDA model the subway’s ad does follow well with the concept. First, the subway’s ad grabs the attention of people that really enjoy sandwiches. Second, the interest in promoting this ad does make people crave a sandwich they’ve never tried before. Third, the subway’s ad makes people desire something they never had on their minds before watching this ad. The action towards the subway’s ad promotes a positive outcome and brings a great concept to the company to bring in new customers. The

We as a society have created an environment so image obsessed that those with power give approval for being thin and disapproval for being fat, creating a generation of men and women so self-conscious about their body image, that it is affecting their health. In this essay I plan to discuss the uncalled-for methods in which the mass media encourages young men and women to disfigure and mutilate their bodies.
