SUMMARY OF FINDINGS

1. In this survey maximum respondents are from the age group of (23-35) women in this age prefer to invest on jewellery either for themselves or their children 2. It was observed that majority of the respondents belong to the female gender. Females will have knowledge about designs and different types of jewellery. 3. It is observed that majority of respondents purchase jewellery for investment purpose. As gold is increasing day by day people are getting more secure for their future 4. 39% of respondents fell that the jewellery market in Bangalore is average as every second month there is a new jewellery shop entering into the market 5. Purchase of jewellery is made randomly and marriages time as marriages happen giving gold to the daughter is going on and as price of gold increasing day by day people buying as a security 6. As the research is done in south people are mainly interested to buy south Indian jewellery.53% of respondent have purchased south Indian jewellery 7. The quality of gold available in bangalore is pure as 92% respondent have agreed they get pure gold in bangalore 8. Exhibitions have helped the Bangalore jewellery market to grow with new players like reliance etc entering the market 9. Jewellery trend in Bangalore is all mix traditional, antique, modern etc. 10. Respondents come to know about the store trough exhibitions or walk-in.33% respondent come to know about the store through and 43% respondents come to know about the store through walk in 11. Respondents are loyal to the store they buy jewellery from where there friends, family members, relatives etc buy as they give information to other people about the quality and trust. 12. The first activity that influence respondents the most to go to a store was catalogue sent to house, second was newspaper ad, third was banners. This three medium are the best to advertise to target maximum even in the population

Varieties found at Sri Ganesh diamonds are excellent as they have all types of jewellery like Rajasthani, antique, modern, etc.36% respondents like the varieties (excellent) at the store and 33% respondent liked the varieties( good) 14. Personal attention has become very important 70% respondent feel that personal attention is required so that they can be in touch with the staff and if any information needed can be called to him personally 15. Among few factors most importance was given to trustworthiness of jeweler, jewelry design and price. Service, valet parking, ambience also play important role 16. Investment of the respondent 41% have been above 50000 as gold has become a security for future 17. Respondents are recommending the shop to their friends and families based on their satisfaction they have experienced while shoping

RECOMMENDATIONS

The response of the consumers is positive. They are very happy with the jewellery designs and they are happy with the prices and the services at the store. The jewellery has good quality at an affordable price and the level of satisfaction is very high. This makes all the people want to purchase from this brand. Many people claimed they are loyal to this brand.

* The brand has a good name in the market. They have positioned their brand in a such a way the first thing which comes to most customers mind before buying high value jewellery is Sri Ganesh Diamonds& jewellery. The company has its name imprinted on the minds of people. Though their brand is very well known, they could advertise a little more to keep increasing their number of customers.

* They have 7 outlets in Bangalore city, it is recommended that the company can consider opening more outlets in the city. This can be done to sell more products, gain more customers, to be ahead compared to their competitors and to position itself better in market. The customers as well would be happy to have more Sri Ganesh diamonds &Jewellery in their city.

* Though there are many people who are aware of the new designs of jewellery introduced by sri Ganesh diamonds &jewellery, there are very few people who are not aware of the products before they visit the showroom. Hence the company can consider launching a few more advertisements with regard to their designs.

* Since the research targeted at the customers of high standard, the company now knows the choices and preferences of these individuals and they easily can target them and increase there sales and brand awareness. They can advertise in movie screens, where they can target all kind of people, they can advertise in planes sheet covers to get top level customers, and also on the no parking boards that will attract more number of customers

CONCLUSION
In recent days the role of the women has changed from housewives to working women and the influence of the western culture has made her more beauty conscious and hence she likes to look good and professional, this has lead many changes and completion among the jewellery industry. From the project, it can be deducted that the
Sri Ganesh diamonds & jewellery house strengths are their popularity with the masses, good will and excellent reputation. Their products stand for quality and excellence. They emphasize strongly on customer relationship. This also contributes towards a high degree of consumer
Satisfaction and there by retention. There has been overall goodwill about the company. However, they have tremendous potential for further expansion. There greatest strengths is however a satisfied consumer base.
