Initially, after reading chapter one, the story seemed to me like a romance novel. However, the deeper I got into my reading I discovered that Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List was not primarily a romantic story. This book is about a girl named Naomi and her best friend, Ely. The informative, yet creative structure allows the reader to create an image in their head and experience the sequence of interesting events as if it was their own life. As I read on, I started to paint a picture in my mind and by chapter two I felt apart of the text. I felt as if I was living the life of all these various people through my own eyes. I think the author did a remarkable job of composing this bestseller because it's the type of a book you never want to put down.
