...* July 25, 2010 Myriam Bergantin * This may be goodbye I read all your messages and I'm trying to figure out exactly what I owe you. See here's the thing when you pulled the money from the rent I had paid you, I asked how much and you said around 1200 total. I made 2 deposits of 500 and gave you the money for Josh's stuff which was 280 and I gave you an extra 120 for you to take the kids around. I ended up giving you 1400 to replace the 1200 that had been spent. The money that had been taken was to pay bills and get some stuff we needed. That's fine but since I replaced it that means I paid for all of it. Then in May you said I owed you for May's rent well how is that since I replaced more than what was taken out. I still gave you the extra money in May for rent I didn't actually owe. I ended up up staying up there with you for 7 1/2 months in which I paid you 7 1/2 months in rent. I also paid my part of the bills for May. I also paid for Josh's stuff again, for what? so he would have it for a month and get out and be a jerk? I have letters saying he would pay me back. Yea ok. So let me get this straight then, you say I owe you for June which I don't. Yes I said I would help pay the extra on the water bill and I will, when I get my check. How did we get to this point? Technically I paid for the rack because it was paid for with the money I had to replace. But I'm not going to do what you're doing. You said you would deduct the freezer from what I owed but you're...

Harnischfeger made the following accounting policy changes and accounting estimates during the year 1984. • There was a change in the recognition of some types of sales. This resulted in a change in sales calculation. Harnischfeger incorporated products purchased from Kobe Steel, which were re-sold by the company, into its net sales. This increased aggregate sales and cost of sales by $28 million. • There was a change in the fiscal year for some foreign subsidiaries. • There was a change in the depreciation methods on assets. The depreciation policy for financial reporting purposes was changed to a straight-line method from a principally accelerated method. • There was a change in the use of last-in, first-out (LIFO) liquidation in inventory valuation. • There was a change in the allowance for doubtful accounts. The company adjusted its allowance for doubtful accounts to 6.7% of sales for 1984 from 10% of sales in 1983. • There was change in the R&D expenses. Harnischfeger significantly reduced its R&D expenses to $5.1 million in 1984, from 412.1 million in 1983. • There was change in employee pension plans. The Salaried Employee Retirement Plan was terminated in 1984 and a new plan was created. ...

Organizational goals and employee needs are considered mutual and compatible in this approach, instead of simply addressing them as separate things. In other words, one need cannot be gained at the expense of the other (Human Resource Management... 6). The human resource manager in charge of the corporate office of a large brewing company, and also the manager that I interviewed, is Lori Fulmer. Mrs. Fulmer is the benefits and risk manager of Gordon Biersch. Organization Information Dan Gordon and Dean Biersch founded their first restaurant in Palo Alto in 1988. What began as a single restaurant brewery collaboration soon turned into a chain. ...Unit 6 Assignment 1 Cable Testers Today we will be discussing different types of cable testers. There are many different types of cable testers. Some would include: wire-map testers, continuity testers, tone generators, time-domain reflectometers, fiber-optic power meters, fiber-optic test sources, optical loss test set, optical time-domain reflectometers, fiber-optic inspection microscopes, visual fault locators, and multifunction cable scanners. We will only be talking about three of these testers. Those three are wire-map testers, time domain-reflectometers, and optical loss test sets. Wire-map testers are testers that transmit signals through each wire in a copper twisted pair cable to determine if it is connected to the correct pin at each end. Wire-map testers detect misplaced wires, broken or unconnected wires, and shorts. The more expensive types of wire-map testers are capable of detecting all problems that can render a cable run inoperable. Though the best models of these can be costly, being able to determine the exact problem immediately is much better than having to keep guessing and checking. I believe that these should be with every technician who values there time in the field, and doesn’t want to spend hours defining a problem only to find more faults. Personally I think these testers should be in EVERY tool kit for wire techs. This could help save a significant amount of time determining the problem with cables. Time domain-reflectometers are the next piece...

...Unit 6 Cable Testers Cable Tester is a device that is used to check the connectivity of and signal strength of a wired cable installation to insure the server and computer are properly installed. A tester main function is to determine connectivity and provide the installer with information regarding a pass or fail reading. Cable testers will be used at the time of installation and while trouble shooting a problem. Although testers can be purchased in a high to low price range, it is best to purchase high quality equipment, this will save time frustration and money. Time-Domain Reflectmeters (TDR) is the standard tool used to determine the length of a copper cable and locates the impedance signal, caused by shorts, damaged cables and interference with other systems. LCD or CRT screen display their reading in a waveform. A high quality TDR can test any type of cable that uses metallic conductors, such as coaxial and twisted pairs. TDR have many more valuable functions such as detecting large faults, water damage, crimped, cut smashed cables measures lengths and distances to any of issues. TDR can also be used as an inventory tool allowing the installer to determine if the reel contains enough cable to complete a particular job. It is my opinion that the TDR should be included in cable kit. Multifunction Cable Scanners, primary advantage is its user friendly applications, by simply connecting the unit to the cable and pressing a button the unit will perform most of the...

...Video Game Design Career Essay I was a kid, maybe six or seven years old when I first played one of those small portable video games, the famous Nintendo gameboy advance. Since that day I became a lover of video games, dreaming of becoming a creator or game designer, as it is called today. As I play more games, more grew in me the dream not only to play the game, but Also to create them; in fact I have come up with many nice thoughts about video games from what I have played and I believed one day my dream will come true when I will create my own game, hoping such game will become a famous game. After doing researches, I found that in fact, the video game industry it is a huge business managing billions of dollars, and that in order to create video game from just the game’s idea until the end step, a lot of different People with different educational background and training is needed. So, the questions now are, what part of this long chain of different positions I am interested for? What position within this multi-billions of industry will give me a major satisfaction? What position will give me the better income? Are universities or colleges in Puerto Rico offering courses for all these positions? Well, I think that I will only find answers researching more about the video games industry and those college in Puerto Rico teaching related course of study. I hope the next paragraphs will provide more information that helps to find answers about doubts in this field of video...

...Unit 6 Assignment 1: Cable Testers In almost every application in dealing with cable installations, cable testing is a must. Some methods of testing cables include testing for attenuation, continuity testers, DC Resistance, a wire mapper and cable length. In all cable types- copper or fiber, 10BASE-T or 100BASEFX, the standards are constantly being changed and developed into a new standard for all future technologies. When testing cable, you can guarantee that the users will be satisfied when all connections prove effective for not just uninterrupted transmission but correct bandwidths to support. A wire mapper is the most common tool. It simply provides a test of a standard Cat5 cable to ensure each individual wire not only carries a strong signal through the entire length of the route, but it proves if each wire ends up in the correct pin number on the opposite end to receive the transmission. It will give the technician an idea if a cable has a short, or if it is a crossover cable. It is also very useful with telephone connections. It should be a part of each cable installation kit. Another common tool is a continuity tester. It shows if there is a direct connection between two points. If there is a closed electrical pathway for the tester to detect, then the device will make a sound. This is useful not only to test for a short, but also to determine and identify which cable is which in a closet full of many cables. This is also a very important tool in any application...
