The company has continuously hired and fired people since I have been there, as far as the management go, I call it “The District Circle of Life”. The staff in which I work and interact with the most with is the Community Assistants (CA). A Community Assistant job combines being a Leasing Agent and a Resident Assistant into one job. The staff consist of twelve student workers that either attend Texas A&M University or Blinn College. We give tours of our property to prospective residents, handle legal documents, organize the office, and put on events for the residents that reside at our property. During this past summer, my job had its biggest turnover within our staff that I have seen in my couple of years of employment. We lost three out of five managers and lost seven CAs. It was not the smoothest transition between the old and new personnel, but we made it through it. Everyone has been able to mesh and get along pretty well for the past few months, except one manager, Jerry! Jerry is our twenty year old Resident Director for the property. His main responsibilities are the Resident Life Program at The District and the CAs. We made four columns that consisted of the perimeter, number of squares found in each square, the area, and total amount of each solution. For example in a 3 by 3 we found that we could only dissect the square into two different solutions. We thought that this information was important because we thought we could only dissect the squares into whole number (integers). We continued to look at our table to see if we could find a relationship, but unfortunately we were unable to come up with a solution. At this point we became stuck.
