Designing food industry’s management strategies have become more challenging and more complicated than ever due to the poverty, the impact of Agrifood organizations and the environmental concerns. Furthermore, the tough challenges of our generation such as the economic crisis, the global warming and the social exclusion have made Agri businesses more problematic. In order to face these challenges, organizations would rather employ sustainability in their Supply Chain Management by designing the Supply chain network. In fact, important decisions such as identifying the capacity of agricultural capacity over a region have made things easier in term of sustainability. In addition to that, the current evolution of technology and the infrastructure of this last two decades are good for the development of the network in the agricultural sector. The capacity of production is increasing significantly due to the advance of technology in this field. Machines help producers to gain time and reduce costs of labor. This macro production has made the food supply chain management a necessity. Being attentive and taking part of potential customers’ problems with the product is a wonderful idea for a firm which is looking for loyalty from its clients. I do agree with Dr. Dawei Lu when he considers the Supply Chain system for the service of the end-consumer and that the he doesn’t consider him as a part of the supply chain. Considering this definition, the Supply Chain Management is what makes all suppliers start from one same principle: The satisfaction of the end-consumer. That makes today’s business easier than before because firms know what should be done to enter the market. Still, for me, it is difficult to figure out the ‘’How’’ of satisfying the consumer without having the ability to include the end-consumer in the process. My opinion is that every firm should provide a customer service which available before and after purchasing the product. For example, today, it is inconceivable to subscribe to a telephone operator if we can’t compare the value with other telephone operators and contact the company if there is a problem. Moreover, I would rather choose to book in a hotel than another with the same rate if the feedback of customers is better in one than
