Alien Life On Mars Research Paper

...Is there alien life on Mars? This tired, old question has been thrown around every scientific circle one can imagine and it has certainly come a long way. It started out as a mere idea. Perhaps an inspiration for scientists to haplessly ponder upon or the idea for some Sci-Fi novel. Now, that question is too close to being answered. NASA has come so far and now, they are just a few strategic steps away to giving us the news we all want to hear. NASA KNOWS THAT LIFE ONCE EXISTED ON MARS What NASA does know is that life on Mars certainly existed in the past. If it was "alien" life, they do not know, but they do know that life may even be possible today. If you remember 2013, just after the Curiosity rover landed, reports of a habitable environment was reported. Craters, where large amounts of surface water existed billions of years ago, were found. Because of this, scientists are positive full lakes and flowing streams existed here for long periods of time. So does that mean alien life existed on Mars or not? Well, NASA says that's complicated. WHAT IS ALIEN LIFE?...

Are We Alone?

...controversy, mystery and new discoveries. Humans have struggled with the possibility of the existence of intelligent life out there in the galaxy. The developed world has spent billions of dollars in deep space exploration in an endeavor to understand what exactly is out there. People have been fascinated by alien life forms a fact which can be seen in the many successful movies on the subject. The many reported cases of unidentified flying objects that are still a mystery and which have generated conspiracy theories that have fanatical believers (Arnold.112). There are tales of flying saucers and elaborate accounts of encounters with aliens. With all these conspiracies theories, TV shows, movies and alien life form fascination, it hard to decipher the fiction from the reality. E.T. moved movie audiences with a story of friendship between an alien and a human. Star Wars stretched the human imagination and demonstrated the possibility of an enterprise with human and alien life forms out there in the galaxy. The Stargate series adds the concept of time travel and the use of alien technology to defend the earth from hostile aliens. It depicts a complex relationship between humans and aliens in strategic alliances driven by mutual interest and the greed for power and influence on a universal level. Hollywood is dynamic on the issue of aliens because it has cast good aliens such as Superman and those that are a threat as seen in Independence Day. In essence the question as whether we...

Aliens Exist: Argumentative Essay

...10 9 December 2015 Extraterrestrial Life Really Does Exists Philosophers and astronomers alike have always been always asked one question, “Are we alone?” The existence of alien life has been a controversial topic since before the earliest civilizations. There have been countless hoaxes trying to prove the existence of aliens, but there are also a number of compelling reasons that support the existence of alien life. For example, there is a high probability they exist based on statistics, because life can travel from planet to planet, and there have been thousands of extraterrestrial sightings and encounters; it is highly probable that aliens exist. First off, aliens can be proven to be real by some simple probability and statistics. Our solar system is just one of tens of billions of solar systems in just the Milky Way Galaxy. There are so many possibilities of life in just one galaxy, and there are hundreds of billions of galaxy’s in the universe! Earth is just one of a seemingly endless amount of planets, so it’s hard to imagine that Earth has the only abundance of life in the entire known universe. Also, in the article, “The Likelihood of Extraterrestrial Life” it explains that all humans are made up of three main elements: hydrogen, oxygen, and carbon. Actually, all known life is mainly composed of these “ingredients”. This knowledge suggests that there are many extraterrestrials to be found across the cosmos because all life is made of the same things. This means...

Do Aliens Exist Research Paper

...Aliens have always been a mystery. Aliens started to make their appearance in ancient history. Historical landmarks have been claimed to have been built by aliens. There are a lot of UFO sightings. There are mysteries even science cannot explain. Which raises the question, do aliens exist? Aliens have shown signs in history with weird unexplained landmarks. “Pyramids were found on Mars”(Jasper Hamill). So is that where our pyramid design came from? “In ancient Peru, archeologists have uncovered mummified remains with enlonged skulls”(History.co.uk). Scientists claim Mars once supported life and has signs of water underground”(Jasper Hamill). Aliens have to exist because of how large our universe is. Scientists have found alien planets that have an atmosphere and could support life. “Water is a key ingredient for life and is very common in our solar system”(ABC News). Unexplained signals have been discovered from outer space as well. It is believed this is someone trying to communicate. They are just too far away for us to pick up the signal. Aliens could very well exist with all of these planets and signs we have discovered. Some scientists ask if there is life why haven’t we communicated? “Some scientists say there is no way to make contact because they are too far...

...Aliens, do they exist? That is a huge question that people are asking today. Before I did research on this topic I didn’t really know how I personally would answer that question. I of course leaned toward no but then again I was always wondering if maybe they were out there. My dad and I like to watch history documentaries and I had watched several documentaries on aliens. But every time I watched them they would show these weird sightings being caught on camera. The fact that they didn’t know how to explain it always made me wonder what it could really be. However after researching the topic I can say with surety that there are not aliens in space. This was a very interesting topic to research. There were many points in the articles, from Creation Ministries, brought out that do a very good job of making the idea of aliens a childhood dream. I liked the author's way of explaining the topic, making it very clear that Aliens truly existing is the excuse of those denying God. I find it interesting that so many people really do believe this with absolute surety. But then one can see that they want to believe...

Deconstruction of Ridley Scott's Alien

...Ridley Scott’s Alien provides us with one of the most basic and primal super-objectives: the preservation life. Our protagonist, Ellen Ripley, faces impossible odds as a seemingly invincible alien predator wreaks havoc on the crew of the Nostromo, taking them out one by one until she is the last man (or in this case, woman) standing. In most every horror, or as Blake Snyder would call it, “Monster in the House” film, the super-objective is to preserve life. Some, however, are more successful than others in conveying that idea, and Alien is perhaps the most triumphant of the bunch. The screenwriter, Dan O’Bannon, heavily juxtaposed the frailty of man with the invincibility of the alien. Neither bullets, nor electricity, nor fire can harm the creature, while it possesses a variety of methods of attack, from corrosive blood to razor sharp teeth. Therein lies the strength of the film’s super-objective: though the alien could easily kill them all, Ripley fights to survive. Alien is one of the few films in which the inciting incident is the very first event. The crew of the Nostromo, on their way back to Earth with twenty million tons of mineral ore, receive a mysterious transmission from a nearby planetoid and are prematurely rousted from their slumber to investigate. Getting that transmission subsequently led to the crew landing on the planetoid, finding the eggs, unknowingly bringing a deadly predator back to their ship, and dooming them all to a grisly death. Well, all but one...

To Infinity and Beyond

...ever wondered if there are any extraterrestrial life forms in the universe? An extraterrestrial is defined as life that does not originate from Earth. It is often also referred to as alien. “Alien” is a very familiar word even though many of us have never met or seen them. They are in TV or movies, and especially the Hollywood productions love to make movies about extraterrestrials. For example, ET (1982) is one of the famous SF movies. The alien, ET is very friendly to people, and it has an ability of making object flying. Since they are only a part of blockbuster movies, most of times people are careless about aliens; however, there are many incidents that show they are real. There are three significant signs that prove they are real such as we are able to suspect another life form in an infinite universe, have UFO sighting everywhere in the world, and have experiences of many people’s alien abduction. First, there must be another life form among the limitless galaxies. Since the universe began in the Big Bang about 15 billion years ago, it has constantly expanded. Therefore, the universe is infinite and Earth is just considered like a grain of sand. The universe is divided into two parts; the observable and the non-observable. There are countless planets and solar systems in the observable universe. Is it true that the Earth is the only planet where life exits in the infinite universe? If there are sunlight and water, life forms could be existed. Therefore, in the universe...

Evidence Of Aliens Existence

...Aliens In my opinion I don’t think there is Aliens. As the bible says God created life only on earth , therefore there is no life on other planate there for there is no Aliens too. There is no proof of Aliens existence. The chance of life existing on other planate is very low. As it been discovered by different scientist’s other planets don’t have the things that life need to survive. There are some TV shows that they use human testimony as an evidence of Aliens existence. As an example I remember watching a TV show that tells a story of one person who was lost for one or two days and found. The person was telling the story and as the person testimony he said that he was drunk on the day he was lost and he said...

...What do the movies E.T. The Extraterrestrial, Prometheus, Aliens, and The Fourth Kind have in common? They are all about extra-terrestrial life! These movies will send shivers down some people’s spines, and others will roll their eyes at it. The debate over extra-terrestrial life has been going on for decades and it has given rise to one simple yet hard to answer question: Do other life forms exist? Many people are firm believers in the presence of other life forms on Earth and in outer space because of the monumental amount of evidence that supports the presence of these mysterious creatures. Thousands of years ago, people began documenting the first sightings of aliens. Only these primitive people did not go to their local police station. Instead, they recorded their sightings in a universal language that everyone could understand: art. One...

Alien Lifeform Outline

...Picture an alien lifeform. A prodigiously elongated head unproportionate to the size of its lanky body. Its arms extending so far it exceeds its knee caps. Legs that are shorter than the size of its upper body creating an off balanced proportion of the average human physique. Skin the color of an emerald, and fingers that reach out so far they double, possibly triple, the length of human fingers. An ear cavity placed slightly above its extended neck, as well as jet black eyes resembling the darkness of a midnight sky. Where did the initial idea of a lifeform like this originate? Was it simply the result of someone's imagination, or has there been untold proof of such creatures? Throughout centuries people have gone public with encounters that they said to have had with an alien or alien related object; however, despite the numerous claims, governmental officials have persistently proclaimed that confirmation of...

Conspiracy Theories: Are Aliens Real?

...Tales of aliens have been around for centuries. According to the dictionary the word “alien” means “a creature from outer space.” There are many people who doubt that aliens are real, but there are many who believe. The theory about aliens and intelligent life has been around for a long time from movies to books. However, the Bible does not directly mention extraterrestrials, but many think that aliens are demons. However, the theory has not been yet proven, and most likely will not be, many think they are. It is a possibility that God had made aliens and intelligent life on other planets that are a million times smarter than us. Its a possibility, but most likely not. Space is huge we haven’t even explored some of the earth, yet so no one knows for sure if aliens are real. Another thing that gives...

Will They Be Friendly?

...16. Will they be Friendly? One question that has plagued the minds of many an educated mind while living on planet earth is the existence of alien life. The earth, which is often referred to as ‘the world’, is the third planet from the Sun and the fifth largest of the eight planets in our Solar System. The earth is only a tiny part of our universe, which is made up of many planets, galaxies, clusters and super clusters. With such an enormous universe, it would be outrageous to even contemplate that there is no extraterrestrial life out there. With this question being so prominent, another question arises and that is ‘if there is other species of life out there, will they be friendly?’ From this question, we can make an assessment on whether we should be advertising our presence by sending messages to stars or just staying quiet. Extraterrestrial life is defined as life that does not originate from earth. ‘Referred to as alien life, or simply aliens these hypothetical forms of life range from simple bacteria-like organisms to beings far more complex than humans’1. Earth is moderately young compared to the rest of the universe, so therefore one can only assume these extra-terrestrials would be far more advanced and complex then ourselves. Although many scientists consider extra-terrestrial life to be plausible, no direct evidence has yet been found. If they do exist, we come back to our will they be friendly question, and we can use certain theories to explore this. A phrase that...
