Tools useful in selling a product
Earning a competitive edge is very important in entrepreneurial activities like selling of laptops, desktops and computer accessories. Cost reduction works well with an objective of earning above average profits in selling a product. Many entrepreneurs are concentrating on outsourcing as a method of cost reduction. This is because foreign firms could be having low cost labor and high technology that reduces cost of operation. A competitive strategy is very important for a business survival in the market. It is usually concerned with showing the way a firm would gain a competitive edge by using a certain distinctive way of competing. It is usually the ability of an organization to attain above average profits in a given business (Jackson R. 2011).
Location of a business is also important in selecting a site for a business. For instance, Car washes would do better where the traffic is slow. It is also important for a business to be put up in a busy street or at a junction with ease of access.
Effective communication is also an important tool that would be useful to an entrepreneur. Advertisements and marketing strategies are successful when appropriate communication skills are used to send messages. High volume sales are experienced by companies who practice healthy communication and have established goodwill from their customers. Good business communication skills play a significant role in customer retention. Customers feel dissatisfied if, in any case, they are left waiting for so long to be served.
