Southwest Airlines is one of the most recognizable passenger airlines in headquartered in America. Furthermore, many consumers like the number of flights, destinations, and prices provided by the company and consider them to be extremely reasonable when compared to the company’s direct competitors. “As a founder of Southwest Airlines, Herb Kelleher has been pivotal in crafting one of the most distinctive organizational cultures in America today” (Quick, 1992, p. 47). Also, the company has built a reputation by making its destinations on time, low fares, and its willingness to ensure that all passengers are satisfied with his or her flight.
