My hypothesis for this job growth is that it will continue to grow as years pass because a large amount of people will always need specialist doctors in order to stay alive. AUTOMATION OF CAREER In my job, I expect there to be some automation that progresses throughout the year that would make my career easier, but overall would not completely replace what the actual job I would be doing. An example of some automation that has already been developed in this field of work is called the “Da Vinci”, which is a machine that makes performing surgeries on people easier and more precise. Also, I believe as years pass, more advances in technology will make surgeries progressively more safe and efficient. JOB GROWTH The job growth for this particular field is pretty decent just like most careers in the medical industry are to this day. According to www.bls.gov, the job employment in 2012 was 86.7, and they are projected to rise to 120.0 by the year 2022. This is an increase of 38.4 and is going to keep rising because the medical field is constantly growing.
