Overview
Rheumatic diseases lead to extremely painful conditions and are a result of factors such as pain, inflammation and swelling of joint muscles. There are hundreds of diseases that are tagged as the rheumatic diseases and these majorly include those related to any kind of arthritis. Some of the symptoms that help in identification of the disease are reddish swollen joints as well as inflammation in connective tissues. The worst impact the disease puts is on the joints and the sad news is that any of the joint can get adversely affected by the disease.

The most common symptoms of Rheumatology include rheumatoid nodules, RA symptoms, and stiffness in the joints. …show more content…
RA Symptoms: Some of the most common RA symptoms include acute pain, joint stiffness and fever. The joint stiffness is seen to be at extreme especially during the morning hours. Prolonged inflammation results in complete damage of the joints in several cases.

2. Joint Stiffness: Another crucial symptom is frequent stiffness in joints. Doctors say that the joint stiffness is very much frequent during morning and may last for the whole day. The commonly affected joints are wrists, elbows, knees, ankles and feet.

3. Rheumatoid Nodules: These are the firm and coloured lumps growing under the skin. A typical attribute of the nodules is that these grow very close to the joints that are affected. The size may vary depending on the complexity of the disease and the damage made to the skin.
Causes
It is said that a direct cause for Rheumatology is unidentified, but some of the known causes include:
• One of the most supposed causes include bacterial infections
• The disease can be inherited through genes and this can be the cause for it
• The disease can also be caused due to exposure to certain specific environments
• Poor immune
