My previous habits related to Anxiety and Academics: I always used to be very anxious while studying and before taking big tests. I think the score of 45 before this class fit my habits very well.

The Difference in my anxiety this semester: I have looked at my test differently and also studied differently by saying that whatever I make is what I am going to make I have to prepare to the best of my abilities and not worry about the outcome. That has helped me greatly over the semester.

What can I continue to do to improve my Anxiety: I am going to keep doing what I am doing and use that mentality to help improve my anxiety.

My semester long goals were to have a 2.0 GPA, make a B in ST 260, and make my advising appointment before December. I only accomplished two of the three I am not going to make a B in ST 260. My goals were both realistic and attainable. My LASSI score in motivation was below my other scores and one interesting thing that I found was that I made a 90 on information processing.

Charts
Chart 1: Anxiety vs. Positivity

Anxiety and positivity are very close together and I think that it is because the more positive I am and how I feel affects how I do on the tests. If I am down I will not do as good as if I am happy.

Chart 2: Time Management vs. Motivation These are very close because if I am not motivated to do my work then I will not do it so I need to try to motivate myself to do my work and it will lead to better time management.

Where will I be in 15 years?
I will be working for my dad at Automotive Painters Supply and will one day takeover.
I will live in Mobile, Alabama and drive a Chevrolet Silverado.

I plan on reaching these goals by: Finishing my education at the University of Alabama and working hard to try and make my dad proud of the work that I will be doing.

Roadblocks: If I do not graduate.

This outcome fits my talents of: Business because I have been around my dad store my whole life and have learned the ins and outs and this college degree will do nothing but help me further understand the business world.

The strategies I will use to get around my roadblocks are: Stay concentrated on my schoolwork.

The Rest of Your Academic Career
Why do you need to go to do well in college to achieve the goals you set above? I need to have a college degree because I need to be prepared for working in the real world.

I want to graduate with a 3.0 GPA.
I want to know how to do the accounting side of the business.
I want to make myself a better business man.

Roadblocks: Roadblocks would be going out to much and getting distracted and the ways I would get around them is to stay on top of my work and what I need to do with a schedule.

One thing you will take from the course: Cramming is a bad idea.
One thing I will remember from the course: Always use study aids and stay motivated towards your work.
