The world is filled with millions of different people and there aren’t very many people that particularly catch my attention. But this young man named Bradley Tidball did more than just catch my attention, he touched my heart. So now I will share his story with you, from facts that I received during a face-to-face interview. On Bradley’s twenty-first birthday, in transit to Las Vegas to celebrate, he started feeling pressure on his chest, and decided it would be best to go to the ER just to be safe. While at the ER he discovered that he had a tumor the size of a baseball on his chest. Not only was this massive tumor in his chest, it was leaning against one of his major arteries. This began to cause him to start losing his vision. Bradley said that the…show more content… Nonetheless; the doctors said that he was in no condition to travel, and should be admitted immediately to try and shrink the tumor that was causing the pressure. After multiple tests, the doctors found out that there was cancer inside the tumor. Bradley was then diagnosed with what is called “Immature Teratoma Brain Cell Tumor”. When I asked him how he would describe going through treatment, he looked up at me with a slight smile and responded by saying that “going through treatment makes a surgery look easy compared to going through chemo. To be honest, the best way I can describe it is it’s like a horrible hangover that lasts for about five days and never eases up.” While Bradley was going through this, he wasn’t sure if he was going to live… What kept Bradley going through his struggles were his friends and family. Bradley said he would post regular updates on Facebook to keep his friends and family current with what was going on and how he was doing.
