...Polyjacking vs. Mudjacking in Huntsville, AL Do you have deteoritating, flaking or chipping concrete? Is your sidewalk or driveway unlevel? If your driveway, patio, or porch steps are sinking, you need our concrete repair services. We can lift and re-level your problem spot without the inconvenience and expense of a complete tear-out and concrete re-pour. As patios, walkways and driveways crack, uneven cracks develop. In addition to being an eye sore, cracked and unlevel concrete can be tripping hazards to you and your family. Fortunately, mudjacking and polyjacking can solve many sinking concrete problems instead of facing a concrete tear-out and new concrete pour. Both methods offer the same results - to lift and level sunken concrete by injecting material into drilled holes. However, choosing the best concrete repair method can be a difficult decision. To pick the best solution for your needs, it's important to know the difference between polyjacking vs. mudjacking. h2: Mudjacking in Huntsville, AL Affordable Foundation and Home Repair has over 20 years of mudjacking experience and proudly serves the Huntsville area. ...What is technology doing to and for us? Sitting on the playground with a tablet avoiding a couple kids; playing with jump ropes, draw with chalk on the ground, playing hop scotch, teeter totter and swinging on the monkey bars. A seven-year-old boy is playing basketball on the tablet and when asked by his friend to come play basketball on the court. He reply’s “I don’t wanna, I’m playing on my tablet.” In schools, students are learning skills that they will need to carry them through life and to find jobs. Schools use technology more and more everyday to teach kids and relate to them. Kids are allowed to bring their own devices to class such as tablets, Ipads, and Mini Laptops and use applications that the teacher may require them to. Clearly, technology is becoming increasingly essential to learning. Students with basic academic skills improve with the use of everyday technology. With the speed of technology solving problems is becoming achievable at a faster pace. A good example of that is finding out about schools closing during bad weather. You can have an email sent to you, or even a text message sent to your mobile device, letting know if you have class. Performing school tasks as in writing research papers, finding out your grades for the semester, and submitting work is so much easier. For example flipping through pages to find a word in the dictionary while looking over it once or twice became easier. Now, you can type it in online and in seconds...

...Introduction Over the years pharmaceuticals have been trying to find multiple ways to improve the drug delivery system for cancer. Microgels and hydrogels were first established, and then the new creations of nanogels were created. Nanogels have grown to have a huge impact for the use of certain anticancer drugs. Although characteristics of nanogels are still being studied by recent researchers they tend to have many advanced features as a drug delivery system. Some features include: simplicity of drug formulation; high drug-loading capacity; exceptional dispersion stability; and prolonged storage of drug formulations in the freeze-dried form. [1] Nanogels are cross linked particles of sub-micrometer size, made up of hydrophilic polymers. There three-dimensional polymer chains are formed by using covalent linkages or the self-assembly processes. [2] A polymer with two different properties such as soluble and insoluble is called an amphiphilic polymer. When the polymer is added to water it creates nanoparticles. The outside of the nanoparticle is called the shell and the center is called the core. When the core is cross linked it then forms a nanogel. Within this experiment cysteamine hydrochloride is added to create crosslink chains in side of the nanogel and TCEP is then added to cleave the disulfide bonds within the gel. Because Nile red is insoluble in water it is added before water during the cross linking reaction. Without the addition of cysteamine hydrochloride the Nile...

...Hayley Masi May 8, 2013 Law Lipman E1 Justice Delayed is Justice Denied The term “Justice delayed is justice denied,” was written by William Ewart Gladstone (1809-1898). Gladstone was one of the greatest English politicians and was also former British Prime Minister. It has several possible origins, one of which is the Magna Carta, clause 40 which states, “To no one will we sell, to no one will we refuse or delay, right or justice.” A prompt trial is guaranteed by the sixth amendment of the United States Constitution. A defendant who is held in jail for a lengthy period of time prior to his day in court could ultimately be found not guilty and then will have been in a sense wrongfully imprisoned. Trials that are pushed back for years may mean that witnesses may be lost or their memories may fade and a guilty man could walk. Victims of crimes and their families must prolong an agonizing ordeal awaiting their day in court. Parties on both sides of the law may be adversely affected by a justice system that is slow and inefficient. In the New York Times, an article written showed that in the Bronx there were more people waiting for their trial then in the rest of the city combined. This borough “was responsible for more than half of New York City’s criminal cases that were over two years old, and for two-thirds of the defendants waiting for their trials in jail for more than five years.” Of the cases eventually tried in the Bronx, less than half of the...

...Strategic Management of Business Policy Formulation and Implementation between Bangladesh and India Course Title: Strategic Management Course Code: MBA 512 Prepared for Prof: Muhammad Mahboob Ali, Ph.D. Visiting Professor of IUB Prepared by Mostafizur Rahman 1221544 Shamsher Ali 113060 Abstract The business relationship between India and Bangladesh is currently of special interest in both countries for a number of reasons. Firstly, there are urgent and longstanding concerns in Bangladesh arising from the perennial, large bilateral trade deficit with India, and from the large volumes of informal imports from India across the land border which avoid Bangladesh import duties. These concerns have been particularly acute on the Bangladesh side in the context of discussions between the two governments of the possibility of a bilateral free trade agreement along the lines of the India-Sri Lanka FTA. Secondly, even though (because of the disparity in the size of the two economies) India’s trading relationship with Bangladesh is much less significant for it than it is for Bangladesh, closer economic integration with Bangladesh is nevertheless seen as a very important way of reducing the economic and political isolation of the seven Indian eastern and north eastern states from the rest of the country. Finally, both countries have long shared common objectives for closer economic integration...

...What is the purpose of using correlation analysis? How might correlation analysis be used in business decisions or in strategy formulation and implementation? Provide an example Correlation is a synonym that describes how someone or something is similar. It can also be used to illustrate instances of similarity among situations, people, or things that are otherwise different in nature to the other situations, people, or things. Businesses can effectively use correlation analysis to determine what common factors impact undesirable outcomes so that the managers are able to make changes, and the process also helps in determining the factors that impact desirable outcomes so that managers can take note of what to continue doing. Correlation analysis basically allows those evaluating various aspects of the business to make connections by analyzing cause and effect of various outcomes. It can be used in business decisions or in strategy formulation and implementation if a business were to use it effectively.Take an example of a small business. that determined that, over the course of the last six years, the business' revenue shot up over 40% each year when the business invested in professional, targeted marketing services versus the other three years in which the business lost money or broke even when the business owner whose skill set is in construction took on the task of building the company's marketing campaign by experimenting and using new marketing software and reading...
