Some students get depressed because they were once star student and now its too much to handle, some become homesick and miss the physical support that family offers. I believe that once every 15 days there should be day dedicated to stress relief. Have stress dogs around campus, have free chocolate, because chocolate releases endorphins that promote happiness, and little things like these to help with those who are struggling with stress. Ways to deal with stress include, getting sleep, going to the gym and eating healthy foods. College needs to be place where you should be worried about your studies but never too stressed. There are certain factors that can not be overcome, such as having a disability or not having access to a school system. Everyone has the ability to adapt and overcome, and to make the best of his or her own lives. I believe that some people sell themselves short, whether it be laziness or lack of motivation. Three obstacles that can affect a student are time, money, and finding a purpose to achieve a certain goal. To become the best student in college, the person needs to hold himself/herself personally responsible for his/her actions, and to set individual goals.
