...Every school year, millions of students participate in school sports. Participating in school sports has grown from an estimate 4 million students playing a sport in the early 1970's to about 7.7 million in 2011. Unfortunately school principals, athletic directors and coaches cannot guarantee that students will remain accident free while participating in any sport. In today's litigious world, schools, and staff can be subject to a lawsuit. Over the past few decades, more tort cases have been filed. ...Sports broadcast journalism is a profession desired by many. It appears to be more competitive than ever before, especially as a profession for women. It looks like a glamorous career for women because they are traveling from one sporting event to another, meeting athletes, and reporting on the sideline during games. So, as we see an increase in women striving to become sports broadcast journalist, as well as the number of women seen and heard reporting sports, it is a challenge today as it was over a decade ago. ...and infrastructure before the 2022 World Cup, which is being held in Qatar. A high number of these workers come from Nepal and India. The working conditions are criticized by both an investigation led by The Guardian and the Nepali embassy. According to The Guardian, the workers are working under so horrendous conditions that they lead to sickness and high number of deaths. Qatari unions have warned that, there could be more than 4000 deaths before 2022. The general secretary of The International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) Sharan Burrow, states that the Qatari government are not reacting on this issue, and therefore it is unsolved. Even though only few of the deaths have conducted autopsies, he claims that there is no doubt that the workers are dying because of the conditions they work under. He claims that there should be implemented the highest standards for the 2022 World Cup – also in concern of the workers. The Nepalese ambassador agrees with this, but has returned to Nepal. B. Discussion In all times it has been a discussion on whether some countries were to be allowed to host countries for the biggest sport events. The Olympic games, European Championship and World Cup are all sport events that will be economical beneficial for the host country. Therefore it has also always been a ‘hot potato’. And it has often been alleged that there were huge payments under the table to ensure the sport event and that other methods were in use. One thing is for sure...

...really be considered role models? Athletes throughout history have always been considered role models for young children with a gift for sports. There have been many misdeeds that have occurred that makes us question whether athletes deserve to be considered role models. Conversely, athletes make good role models for several reasons such as promoting physical fitness, educational success, self-confidence, and a strong work ethic. The role of being an athlete is a good goal to reach in itself especially with the obesity epidemic that we are currently having in America. Athletes must have a strong work ethic and devote a large portion of their personal time to training in order to become a professional. Athletes also need to display a high degree of self confidence in order to be successful. With the exception of a very small few most athletes do go to college, and are expected to be successful, which promotes children to seek further education (Williams, 2011 ). A current example of an athlete who makes a good role model is Olympic gold medalist gymnast Gabby Douglas. She not only was a participant in the 2012 Olympics but she has shown a high degree of class and respect as she has gained fame. Unfortunately, there are many examples of bad role models within the athletic community. A recent case that is in the news concerns professional football player...

...ARCHERY Sunnah Sport Centre has provides archery skill class since archery is one of the sports that encouraged in Islam. This sport is a sunnah as well. Archery is the art, practice, or skill of propelling arrows with the use of a bow, from Latin arcus. Historically, archery has been used for hunting and combat. A person who participates in archery is typically known as an "archer" or a "bowman", and one who is fond of or an expert at archery can be referred to as a toxophilite There is a quote about archery from Louis Lord Mountbatten which saying that, during the fourth world war, people will use archery instead of nuclear. Besides that, there are a sahih hadith about this sport. The Prophet once passed by some people of the tribe of Bani Aslam who were practicing archery. The Prophet said: “O Bani Isma`il ! Practice archery as your father Isma`il was a great archer. Keep on throwing arrows and I am with Bani so-and-so.” (Bukhari) For archery, we hired eight coaches who are expertise in archery. The community who learn this skill would be divided to four teams. Each team would have two coaches with them and have different locations. We concern about the efficiency in learning this skill, which is the reasons why we divide them to groups. There would be no separation among the learners based on their expertise. They will learn from the most fundamental steps till they will expert. There are schedule for the classes. There are two sessions for a day which is on weekend...

...The city of Los Angeles has been without an NFL team since 1994 when both the Rams moved to St Louis and the Raiders relocated to Oakland. It has been proposed that a new stadium should be built to help attract teams that to come back to one of the biggest U.S. city’s without an NFL league franchise. In past years L.A. has been one of the largest media market in the country. With L.A. being second to none as the media capital, why not bring “Sports Entertainment” back to the city of angels. Los Angeles did just that when they decided and took a major step toward building a downtown stadium to lure an NFL team back to the nation's second-most populous city, despite questions about how a 72,000-seat venue in the urban core would impact notorious freeway traffic, nearby housing prices and air quality. Last fall the city council unanimously voted for a new stadium to be constructed in the heart of downtown. The construction of the new stadium comes with its benefits for the debt ridden city. Developers for AEG submitted and won a contract to complete the construction for Farmers Field for 2016. In the past when new stadiums were built much of the renovation and construction were subsidized which in turn leads to a great economic impact. Realistically, employment, visitor spending, public spending and revenue are the benefits that the city wants to bring into play. But one factor that has been overlooked for city great city is that some feel how this new stadium will benefit...

...are a great way to meet new people. Approximately 75 people showed up to participate at a "beginner's jam" hosted by Chicago Parkour on October 17th, 2009 at the University of Illinois at Chicago (Chicago Parkour Meetup). I myself attended this event, and met many new great friends that I now see on a regular basis for training. During the warmer seasons of the year, Benjamin "Strafe" Zumhagen, one of the leaders of Chicago Parkour, hosts what is known as the "Stego Jams" every weekend at Grant Park. Zumhagen agrees that jams can be an excellent way to meet new people and estimates that an average of between 5 and 10 new people attend his jams every week (B. Zumhagen, personal communication, January 30, 2011). The vast number of jams held by communities worldwide opens up the possibility of student travel to other states, or even countries! Many traceurs are willing to provide housing to traveling traceurs in-town for a big jam. Parkour builds a great sense of camaraderie, especially when a group of traceurs...
