In my opinion, the ending of the novel “Elske-by Cynthia Voigt” was quite predictable but had many surprises scattered throughout the ending of the book to keep the reader captivated all the way to the end. I was very content with how the ending of the book unfolded and tied back to some of the previous parts of the story. One thing that could have made the ending and its consequences better and more suspenseful for the reader would be by including fewer key pointers to the outcome of the ending in this novel. It was a good decision by “Cynthia Voigt” (the author) to leave clues dispersed throughout the book for the reader piece together to foreshadow what is yet to come in the story.
