...ggrgegregrgregrg fefe A report or account is any informational work (usually of writing, speech, television, or film) made with the specific intention of relaying information or recounting certain events in a widely presentable form. Written reports are documents which present focused, salient content to a specific audience. Reports are often used to display the result of an experiment, investigation, or inquiry. The audience may be public or private, an individual or the public in general. Reports are used in government, business, education, science, and other fields. Reports use features such as graphics, images, voice, or specialized vocabulary in order to persuade that specific audience to undertake an action. One of the most common formats for presenting reports is IMRAD: Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion. This structure is standard for the genre because it mirrors the traditional publication of scientific research and summons the ethos and credibility of that discipline. Reports are not required to follow this pattern, and may use alternative patterns like the problem-solution format. Additional elements often used to persuade readers include: headings to indicate topics, to more complex formats including charts, tables, figures, pictures, tables of contents, abstracts, and nouns summaries, appendices, footnotes, hyperlinks, and references. Some examples of reports are: scientific reports, recommendation reports, white papers, annual reports, auditor's reports, workplace...

The analysis of the old system shows: A. the collection of revenues comprised of 3 basics operation: 1) Collection of fees 2) Deposit of fees 3) Reporting the collections The current manual system for revenue and reconciliation of deposit are prone to errors, missing items and revenue shortages. B. The record of visitor attendance was made monthly using excel worksheets. And reports were quarterly or yearly. The current method for counting visitor numbers is time consuming and imprecise C. Delayed Vendor payments create serious cash flows problems during few months of each budget year. There will not be enough available operating funds to pay outstanding vendors invoices. ...important responsibilities to perform, and as well as having many, there are many that are not well defined. The Equipment administrator is responsible for the accuracy of inventory records, the timely resolution of equipment discrepancies that delayed orders. The EA is also responsible for maintaining the Non-revenue Report, which needed to be updated daily. Every month the EA was also responsible for taking physical inventory of all the equipment and to match this inventory to the Non-revenue Report. It is possible to see that this list of things are all intertwined and are very time consuming. After an audit, they were able to pinpoint that the accuracy of equipment reports was not precise, this something that should be changed. It is not always a good idea to have one person responsible for tasks that are intertwined, because mistakes are often made and never uncovered. The EA could in fact fudge the numbers when it came to physical inventory so that they matched the Non-revenue Report, and therefore he/she would make the company look better because there would be no lost inventory. Furthermore, we can see that having to update the Non-revenue Report daily, but not matching these to physical inventory until the end of the month can impact the timely resolution of equipment discrepancies. After looking at this key issue, there would be different alternatives to fix the problem. My recommendation would be to divide the equipment administrator’s work load into two jobs. This...

...asked the engineers what was the problem. He found out that the employees were not satisfied with the jobs assigned to them. They spent almost half of their time writing asinine reports in triplicate for top managers and no one would read them. He promised the engineers that he will take the top managers off their backs. He ordered that all reports be turned to his office daily rather than mailed to the headquarters. By month’s end, the stack was nearly three feet high. Finally, a secretary from finance asked for the monthly travel and expense report. The next morning Terrill entered the president’s office and placed the stack of reports on his desk. The president and other senior executives looked bewildered. He told the top management that those reports were the reason why his department lacks productivity. He suggested that engineers’ time must be used in a more productive manner and one brief monthly report will satisfy the needs of other departments. II. Statement of the Problem The Technical Services Division of DGL International was the highest paid, best-educated, but it was the least-productive division in the company. Problems 1. Employees were not satisfied with the jobs assigned to them. 2. Engineers spent half of their time writing reports and no one would read them. Alternatives / Remedies/ Solutions 1. ...Jail Responsibilities Monique Priorello September 23, 2012 One of the main responsibilities of a jail is to give the officers the correct “Police Correspondence” courses. This is because these courses give the officers the effective basic training that they need to do things such as; Writing of Memoranda, Police Reports, and Civilian Letters. What needs to be done first is make sure that there are NO errors. This means in spelling, punctuation, price, and grammar. These should be thoroughly, and constantly, edited. Another thing is conciseness; this means it should be brief or limited in words. Although, concision does not mean deleting words that count just to make your statements ‘rough in manner’. Officers should avoid tired old phrases, also known as triteness. Examples of these are; “in the final analysis”, “cold as ice”, “hard as a rock”, and “last but not the least”. They should also avoid misleading expressions (euphemisms) such as “meet our Creator” which means death and “Policy of Disinformation” which means lying to the public. Weak phrases should be avoided also. Weak phrases are ones such as; “wealthy business person”, “Carrying a child” and “one year old boy”. Instead, what can be used are phrases such as “tycoon”, “pregnant” and “one year of age boy”. Police officers must NEVER discriminate because of gender. Neutral terms should be used to manifest, fairness and equality between sexes. Examples are; “If a woman drives” to “if a person...

...Nestlé Code Management System | Training Nestlé employees involved in marketing of breast-milk substitutes are regularly trained on the WHO Code. | Nestlé has developed a unique global programme to ensure compliance with the WHO Code across all Nestlé’s operations. GES Investment Services, Northern Europe’s leading analysis firm for socially responsible investments, published a report on “The Infant Food Industry and the WHO Code”. This report is the first of its kind assessing and comparing infant food companies’ compliance procedures with respect to the WHO Code. It concluded: “Nestlé has the most elaborated policies and mechanisms to address the Code, distinctly ahead of its peers”. Nestlé's implementation of the WHO Code includes the following: * Nestlé Policy and Instructions * Training, testing and compensation on WHO Code knowledge * Nestlé WHO Code Management System * Internal Ombudsman System * Internal and External Audits * Internal and External Reporting Nestlé Policy and Instructions First published in 1982, these were developed to ensure complete and correct implementation of the WHO Code by Nestlé. This became necessary because the WHO Code, as a recommendation to governments, does not supply implementation instructions. This is left to national regulation, which may be absent or weaker than the WHO requirements. Training, testing and compensation on WHO Code knowledge Nestlé trains personnel involved in marketing of breast-milk...
