She was born and raised in Rock Springs, Wyoming, to Kenneth and Tina Matthews. She also had two sisters, Rita Comstock, who has already passed and Darlene Oshel, who is still living in California. Marge and her family would live through some drastic changes in our society and yet she would play such an important role as an individual and change our own worlds.

Those who love deeply never grow old; they may die of old age; but they die young. And dancing can reveal all the mystery that music conceals because dance is a song of the body, either of joy or pain. Stifling an urge to dance is bad for your health — it rusts your spirit and your hips.

They were nearly similar stories but John said that he had seen her dancing in the club while Marge asked her friend “Hey, you know that drummer? The one with then name Johnny on the drums. I have a soft spot for the name Johnny.” After playing the drums, he and Marge got together afterwards and paired off as dance partners. When the club was closing, they didn’t want their night to end, so they jumped in a car with three to four other couples and went on a ride to another party. Hoping into a vehicle with people you didn’t know was very common during this time because friendships were easy to forge, however, times have changed and we live in a different world were trust has been tainted and schools are now teaching about stranger danger. But Back in their time, as long as Marge and John were paired up, it didn’t matter where they were going, just as long as they were going together. Life was an adventure for Marge and John. They continued to communicate even after John had to return home back to Little Rock, Arkansas. Marge did everything she could to have the owner of Howard’s Club request John’s band to come back to Rock Springs, Wyoming. They corresponded by means of writing letters back and forth to each other. Most of us can be impatient waiting for a text message response within the same hour while Marge and John dedicated days or even weeks writing back and forth. They developed
