Dealing with Change: I must accept that change it is inevitable; however, we are expect that everything we do remain the same. I like that most of my dealings at work remain the same. If it is up to me and I am in control I will make sure that things remain unchangeable and the rest of the things will be easy enough to do. I know this is no good for me and for the rest of the team. For me is possibly an easy way to accomplish my objectives and mission, but how I can adjust to changes if I am not able to accept changes that are going to occur. If I am not prepared then the objectives will be unfinished and the mission will not be accomplished. The story of “Who Moved My Cheese?” reminds me of how complaisant I am with I do. As a person officer and leader I should be able to be ready for changes. If am that leader and supervisor I should leading my troops and Agents in a way that can prepare them for the situations that will arise within our job. I understand that there should be an order to conduct business; however, there should be a way to adapt to any given situations and spontaneous ways of conducting business. What I have to understand is that changes will always occur. So the way I used to move from point A to point B might be closed and I will need to take a detour. In preparation for any changes, I should know what alternate routes exist to reach my destination. In order to stay in the ball game I should be looking at all directions and monitor the different routes available as change can occur whenever you are not expecting it. If you have to change the route, just make sure you keep moving and do not hesitate or look back. This new route might open you other avenues which you could use for other things. And at the end you just need to make sure that changes can always happened. Just make sure you adapt and keep moving forward without hesitation.
