Describe your learning opportunity, what are you planning for the children to do?
BE CLEAR and DETAILED. Be sure there is a connection to your anecdotal observation.

My learning opportunity for the children is to plan them a challenging activity as well as incorporating basic and complex skills. My activity will help them develop cooperating, helping, regulating emotions and behavior, teamwork, and games with rules. My activity is a cooperative activity the children will be placed in teams and have to do three challenges in a minute or two. In my cooperative activity, there are three challenging games which are “Up the Escalators, The Great Wind Blows and Guess the Flavor”. In activity 1 “Up the Escalators”, there would be 5 teams of 3 players …show more content…
Each player must use their left hand to hold the stack and use their right hand to grab each cup from the top and stack it to the bottom. To win the game, the stickered cup must be placed to the top. Activity 2 “The Great Wind Blows,” the players and time are the same instruction as activity 1, but there are some slight changes to it. Each table would have 7 cups and within a minute each player in their team has to use their air from their mouth to blow the cups off the table. To make it challenging children can’t touch or use their hands to knock the cups off the table. Lastly, activity 3 “Guess the Flavor”, once again the rules are the same, but for this activity I’ve decided to set the time for 2 minutes, each two players in the team would be blindfolded and get the opportunity to taste different jelly beans and the third player in the team would write down a list flavors that their teammates suggested. During this activity, children are learning to cooperate in an enthusiastic way. Children are mainly learning to compromise new strategies for team working and building relationships with others. Each activity is competitive and intense, but these feelings allow children to explore, discover, take risks by

What Is a Rfp

...How to Write an RFP for e-Learning Services Including a Customizable RFP Template What is an RFP? How can you narrow the list of possibilities before contracting for services? How can you ensure that your organization’s business needs will be met? One solution is to write and distribute a Request for Proposal (RFP) in the marketplace. An RFP is a document produced by a company seeking goods and/or services and distributed to prospective vendors. Vendors then provide proposals based on the criteria specified within the RFP. A well-written RFP will outline specific information about your organization, the services and products you need, and the specific requirements suppliers must meet in order to win your business. It forces your to identify your business and technical requirements. It also forces the vendor to state in writing to what extent they can meet your requirements. A written RFP increases market awareness of your organization’s needs, thereby increasing the competition to serve those needs and increasing the formality of the relationship between you and the supplier. In short, an RFP places you—the buyer—in control of the desired service levels and related requirements and lets potential vendors know up front that your most important concern is the level of customer service you will receive. Reasons to Write a Formal Request for Proposal • To increase competition for your organization’s money, which will increase the options and potentially could drive down...

Attributes of a Critical Thinker

...(skills and attitudes) of a critical thinker and their application in successful university learning, drawing on relevant SSK12 readings and your own experience. ___________________________________________________________________________ A students learning will not be wholly successful without the development of critical thinking. Critical thinking is considered a process of applying coherent and meticulous thinking to a subject (Kurland 2005). In Australian Universities, students are expected to think actively and not just accept everything that is seen or heard. Students must develop more reasoned arguments and focus on the process of learning rather than just attaining information. In this essay, I will discuss what critical thinking is, the skills and attributes of a critical thinker and why critical thinking is important to students’ success in university learning. I will identify what skills are expected of university students and how these skills can be applied to university learning to be successful. I will do so by drawing on relevant materials and my personal experience of SSK12 Introduction to University Learning. Maiorana (1992, 60) describes the purpose of critical thinking as ‘achieving understanding, evaluating viewpoints and solving problems’. In the context of university learning, critical thinking describes skills that contribute to effective study and learning. According to Foundation for Critical Thinking (2009), “Critical thinking is that mode of thinking...
