Not a lot of people out there want to work off the weight they gained by eating at drive throughs or drive through restaurants. A lot of people like to eat at fast food places because of the way they cook things and prepare them; some people do it because they don’t want to cook. However, as stated in the book, Fast Food, “indulging in fast food as an occasional treat is a recipe for weight gain.” Most of obesity today is because of fast foods, eating over the limit, or depression, and not only is fast food tasty, but it is also very unhealthy.

As said in book Fast Food, “you would have to walk 7 hours straight to burn off a Super Sized Coke, fries, and Big Mac.” Things on a Big Mac such as: meat, cheese lettuce, and many other things on a Big Mac ca lead to health problems, heart problems, hemorrhagic colitis, acute kidney failure, or maybe even death. The Big Mac isn’t the only thing that can cause this, many other foods from many other restaurants can cause all of these health problems. Almost everything in McDonalds will ruin a body physically making people over weights if you eat enough or messing with their kidneys or other organs. Not only is McDonalds or other fast food restaurants making people over weight with their foods but they are also unsanitary. …show more content…
Some fast-food places are not as bad, and they are sanitary, but not as sanitary as the kitchen in a house. People know what they cook or fix in their kitchen; they don't know what they could be fixing around back in a restaurant. Not a lot of people really care about their health or their hygiene so they don't care about what they eat or drink that comes out of a restaurant. There are places that fast food needs to be taxed or just closed
