Franz Peter Schubert (1797-1828) known as Franz Schubert was born in 31 January 1797 in Himmelpfortgrund, Austria. Schubert was born in a family who is very appreciating music. Schubert is considered the last of the classical composers and one of the first romantic. Schubert's music is notable for its melody and harmony. As an Austrian composer, he wrote many works including who covered six hundred secular songs which mainly a Lieder (German art songs for voice and piano), seven complete symphonies, sacred music, operas, incidental music and a large body of chamber and piano music. Schubert achieved his musical maturity around 1820 and produced Alfonso und Estrella in which his only grand opera before his health began to fail.

Faure was a pianist, organist, teacher and a very famous French composer in his era. His education in music started when he still nine years old at Ecole de Musique Classique et Religieuse (School of Classical and Religious Music) in Paris. In his life, he had the privilege to study with one of the great composers, Camille Saint-Saens. Saint-Saens taught him in piano studies and contemporary music and since then they had a close friendship between them until Saint-Saens died sixty years later. Faure was a founding member of the Societe Nationale de Musique which was formed in February 1871 under the chairmanship of Romain Bussine and Saint-Saens which responsible for promoting a new French music. He wrote many songs and pieces in which it is the most highly regarded works in his later years, in a more harmonically and melodically complex style. As five year old kid, he already showing his musical talents without formal lesson from any teacher and at the age of nine he composed a children’s song kupu-kupu. His first works for piano completed at the age of 16. Mochtar Embut was studying at University of Indonesia Department of Languages French taking educated academic in the Faculty of Letters. As a shy and a lonely person, he reflects his character into his songs and chose to work behind the scene rather than to perform. However, he was the first Indonesian who had performed and conducted the orchestra symphony in Japan where International Pop Festival takes place in 1971.
