In the memoirs called “Fuhrer, You Order We Obey” written by Rudolf Hoss, he claimed that though what he had done was monstrous, he did it out of duty. This memoir has similarities to that of Adolf Hitler’s “Mein Kampf”. Written on 1947, a little more than two decades after Hitler has written “Mein Kampf” it is noticeable how much of an influence Hitler had over on those years. First, Hitler proposed the idea of which the Aryan race is the dominant race. Second is the hatred towards the Jews, and lastly a government with absolute power to reduce a population by any means possible. All of these are manifested and is evident in Hoss’ memoir.
