Project Proposal EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Objective
The objective of this business plan is to own and manage a small vintage style café / Restaurant with a warm and homely atmosphere. This business will then be taken to other parts of the city (e.g. Nottingham) keeping in mind the target audience. If the business is then at a later stage still successful I would then go on to branch out and create smaller stalls that focus on specific produce such as homemade cakes, smoothies and ice creams for quick and easy purchases for those who may stop by during there work breaks and mid day snacks.
Project ideas
Different shapes, colours and sizes of cups that can be brought in buy customer in trade of a free coffee- this not only helps with businesses utilities and lower cost of resources but also makes the customers feel more involved and more prone to visit the store.
Regulars having there personal cups- giving regulars there own cups lets them know that there not just a everyday customer to the business but makes them feel involved and wanted in the cafe/restaurant.
Fresh homemade edible produce such as cakes, sandwiches, cobs and croissants.
Depending on the business ratings and popularity, an open mic evening and acoustic players- this not only adds scheduled events to the business but may also draw in people who want to participate or sit and spectate which mean more customers.
All recourses required for a restaurant and cafe area such as cups (stated in the first idea), knife & fork, glasses will be brought in at random and placed on tables mixed and matched to add to the vintage theme.
Hand written check pads- checks will be placed on nails on the wall. again this will also help add to the vintage theme.
Loyalty cards are fun ways to attract customer to shop at my business- at the end of a customers loyalty card they will be offered to spend the loyalty card

...give her customers the best specialty food with exceptional service. Kathy visits each of her stores regularly and does a lot of the back office work so her management team and sales associates can interact with the customers on a regular basis and keep up an exceptional rapport with repeat and new customers. While Kathy is happy to do all the back office work, she would still like to interact with her clients to keep her presence known and is able to hear what customers are saying and any feedback that is given. While Kudler Fine Foods is the only known specialty food store around there is no known competitor in their geographical region. Ways that Kathy can keep competition up is to build her catering side of the business and keep prices reasonable for her products. Having a catering service offered by her industry will help boost sales as long as it is marketed in the right places and properly. Another way to stay on the up and up of competition is to offer gluten free products. Even though Kathy is not basing her products on the healthy side but on the high end quality side, by having a gluten free menu and products for her customers will help sales increase due to the demand for gluten free foods now (Kudler Fine Foods, 2013). While looking at the marking surveys from 2012 and 2013 there are a lot of similarities and not may differences. One that stood out to me personally was the pricing question with the economy the way it is there is definitely reason behind the answers...

Spitfire Bar And Grill Advertising Campaign Analysis

...We chose to work with Spitfire Bar & Grill because we enjoy eating their food and it is a local restaurant. Being a local restaurant makes it a lot easier for people around the Fargo-Moorhead area to find. Spitfire makes award winning smoked food. Having this award winning food makes it exceptionally great that it is in a classy building. It was first opened in 2007 by Tim Olson which is located at 1660 13th Avenue East, West Fargo, ND. We decided to do an advertising campaign for Spitfire Bar & Grill. This advertising campaign consists of increasing last year’s sales by 5%, keeping tallies of how many people come from bison games, and finally increasing catering venues 5% from last year. In order to do this, we decided to use digital media, print media, and transit media. For our digital media, we chose to put ads on Twitter and Facebook. As for print media we decided to use flyers. Not only those, but we also used billboards for our transit media. Having these three different types of advertising medias allows us to reach all kinds of people. These advertisements will be out for eight weeks, which allows people to view these advertisements at different times essentially from any place there are.
