Recruiting the best employees for any organization is an ongoing challenge for every manager, supervisor and human resources professional. This report is intended to explore the reasons organizations search at hiring the most talented employees over average ones. With the interview conducted at McGill University, this report presents a comparison of recruitment approaches and methodologies used to hire top performers from an academic to real world perspective. In particular, this paper focuses on understanding the motivation, mechanisms and assessments in place to hire top talents in an organization.
